Season 2 has not reached the climax yet so people are feeling bored by the development of the story.

People rarely have the patience of a saint when it comes to entertainment, TBH.

The current series are not as exciting as the previous Season no matter how hard the fans are trying to white wash it.

Ah Nian resides in her kingdom as Cang Xuan's queen. Her father gave up his throne to CX. Ah Nian becomes more mature like Xiao Yao which wins Cang Xuan's respect. I think Cang Xuan treaures Ah Nian due to being linked to her since he was little and Xiao Yao being her older sibling and his father-in-law being his former mentor.

Meanwhile, Xinyue is a queen in the Mainland but she is now depressed and abandoned by CX although she isn't deposed by him. CX doesn't have any connection to her as their marriage has always been political and she had abandoned him once when he was desperate for her family support.
