Pleasantly surprised by Ong Seong Wu - first time watching him in a drama and his performance is solid
You should watch Moment of 18 and Would You Like a Cup of Coffee. He definitely has talent!

Is the cast line known or is this temporary?
Wi Ha Joon was confirmed a day or two ago. I assume they will start filming next year from they way it sounds from the production company.

This movie puts US blood bath movies to shame. Honestly enjoyed seeing Seo In Guk play a psycho even if it was for a short time and Jang Dong Yoon gave a strong performance once again with Park Ho San giving his best villain performance to date on my opinion. The upside to Korean movies like this is they all seem to leave an opening for more. But it is a definite love or hate movie, no middle of the road fans.

It’s not on Viki, or at least in the US and I’m not finding it using my VPN either.

The first scene with Dong-Ju's mother had me so confused for a good minute. I was thinking, "But they're the same…
my feelings exactly

I was thinking the same thing! Like a ridiculous filler to end the story.
The ending could have been worked in nicely throughout the series. Leave out the "cutesy" part like the 3 minutes of "Oppa" and "Sol Hui-shi" and other silly scenes and the show could have been done in 14 episodes.

The last two episodes seem pure fluff. They should've been the middle two episodes. Lol. But I loved this drama.

I wish I could say I’m enjoying this show but I’m not. The first 8 episodes I could literally fast forward through most of it and still get what’s going on. I also waited 3 weeks to catch up on the current episodes that have been released and realized I’ve not missed much. This is not Lee Min Ki’s best work. I’m putting this one on the back burner to watch later when I'm in a blah mood.

As much as I’ve enjoyed this show, it’s hard for me to get past Jung Woo as the 32 year old character. He doesn’t have that youthful energy of the character which sometimes makes it hard to believe some of the actions he takes. I love Jung Woo’s acting but this was not a roll for him. Other than that, the character stories struggle in the first half of the series but it comes together in the end.

Did you watch All My Children?Isn’t Susan Lucci just one of the greatest soap opera actresses of all time?
I grew up watching All My Children. They were like family to my mother who cried the day the last episode aired. Susan is the greatest. Hence the reason I get the Erica vibes from the character Se Jin
On The Real Has Come! May 16, 2023
As much as I’m enjoying this show I feel like I’m sometimes stuck in an 80’s American soap opera with the soundstage scenes. Overly dramatic music and actor expressions, Erica Cane (All My Children) shenanigans with Se Jin and side family drama, plots and schemes. Still enjoying it and almost wish it was a daily thing like the old soap operas.
