After rewatching- I felt both the ML and FL really carry the role well. They are good. The wanting, insecure,…
right?! u have to really sit down and soak this drama in slowly to understand how good they both delivered in this show. I bet if this is some indie atmospheric type of movie it might have wailed better praise. I cannot accept any ZJM and WL slander because for what was lacking in the script, they hugely made up for it for the outstandingly natural and realistic flow of energy. I felt like I was for real witnessing actual two people falling in love.
I would say if youre new to cdramas (which I would understand you mean idol cdramas, which this show is considered…
Fun fact: ZZ and ZJM worked together on a few films when they were young! Both amazing child actors! Same with WL ofc. I do applaud him for being a complete opposite here in the drama as himself, but in reality if a guy stares at me the way he did the first episodes I will call the cops on him (which WL and ZJM did mention in an interview together haha).
I loved the drama at first but I couldn't stand the ML actor so I gave up on it at ep 14. I had no problem with…
I would say if youre new to cdramas (which I would understand you mean idol cdramas, which this show is considered to be) then Id say ur up for disappointment because this is probably one of the better ones out there in terms of romance and chemistry. Ofc dont expect this show to have a plot.
I was actually pretty surprised how natural and believable they both are in their roles as lovers. Felt like a third wheel the whole time watching them. As for hating on Wu Lei's looks, beauty is subjective. I admit I don't really find him super attractive as well and his stares do get kind of creepy sometimes and I didn't like how he overdoes it but their interactions are what sold me on this show. Always tension filled, and even if they don't talk there's still a sense of connection there.
Might be unpopular opinion but I prefer Maimai's acting here over Wu Lei. She sold the naive young girl storyline falling in love with this strange man in an unknown country really well. The script isnt the best in the first place anyway, but both of them did their abilities to work it.
Honestly same, I saw this double standard video on billibilli which shows Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai treating their…
Thank you for sending! Mad respect to them as actors though, you can definitely see the trust and respect being built to create that kind of connection. The realistic atmosphere they have on the show is one I rarely see in romance films, and I watch a lot of them (not being a delulu at all haha).
Yesssss I love how versatile she is. I've mentioned this earlier but she has never played the same character twice.…
I don't think that's a bad thing. She will stay in the acting business for longer after establishing her name and proving herself to the industry, hence more serious projects for her. She'll gain respect as a serious actor, hence more quality fans, hopefully all over the world. It might take longer and lesser pay for a start compared to idols, but honestly I'm happy she has no interest being a liulang. She knows what she wants and that is to go straightforward with acting. I really admire and respect that. I've seen hate posts in weibo about her not having an idol personality, but quality actors like her nowadays are rare. She constantly challenges herself, always surprises everyone, and at such a young age can outperform actors way older than her. She's gonna be one of the best ππ
she has crazy chemistry with every lead actor ive seen her work with...so, Im wondering if AASOL with Wu Lei was just them being really good with that, or there's something going on there. I'm leaning with the former. But damn they be so natural and realistic they make me question my judgment
yooooo that was a journey. I felt like these last 8 episodes were so fast paced compared to the beginning 22 episodes.…
Agree πππ why was that proposal and maimaiβs response so realistic π like im watching a footage of an actual real life proposal, theyre just too good
