In ep.7 when they show the Chairman's picture with his daughter at his house. Theo is in the picture too.

I don't think Jun-ho was framed. Unbeknownst to him, his brother used insider information to invest in stocks…
The funny thing is, I consider the wife to be the red herring exactly because of the camera focus on her in Ep. 6! I do think she was involved somehow but I am not of the opinion right now that she betrayed Junho. I am even more curious to find out how this will play out! Haha.

Hmm, interesting! I just assumed that someone had purposefully fed Junho's brother insider info to buy the Jumbo Pharma stocks in order to drag Junho into a scandal (since everyone's immediate reaction was to believe that Junho is the one who bought the stocks under his brother's name). But you are right that the brother could have simply acted independently, and just used Junho's position to gain access to the info.

- it seems to me that it doesn't actually show us the art of negotiation ... (for example, it seems to me that…
Uhh, I am really lost on how you think this is NOT a good representation of negotiation? Half the work while negotiating is finding out information about your opponent so that you have the upper hand (especially personal info). If you can maintain a cordial relationship after the negotiations, and have everyone involved feel like they are walking away with a win, that IS a win.
In every single example I have from my real life, I can tell you that clients' personal stories/cultural contexts and how they have been used before, during and after negotiations have made or broken deals, and set the tone for future negotiations. I rarely see successful negotiations that do not involve people's stories.

Absolutely enjoyable series, 8 episodes in! The main character is a good combination of realistic and fictional: a smart M&A team leader with the right kind of backing in the company is realistic, while genius with lady luck almost always on his side is the fictional part.

The writing has done a great job of showcasing business tactics, negotiation rules (in different contexts), hierarchies in the corporate world, and various kinds of troubles that could arise in a company. The snivelling, gossiping, and dirty play people engage in is not exaggerated at all. I know some people are frustrated with the intern kid but he's there to learn. He's also the character through which the show explains certain details about the job to us, the audience.

What I am looking forward to the most now is how the story develops in regards to Junho's personal agenda and the reason for his return to the company. I wonder if he already knows who framed him previously; it seems like he does! Also curious to see what Theo is up to, given that we now know who he truly is. Hope the show keeps up the momentum, and ends on a strong note!

It was shown that it is his son or at least a family member because the Chairman has a photo with him and his daughter in his house.

I guess the complaints are because the plot is set in near future. Like such technological advancement is frankly…
Ivy already explained it really well but I would like to add that if this is indeed the reason people are complaining, it is their own inability to understand the premise that is at fault.

Moreover, I don't think it is impossible or unrealistic for technological advancements to happen rapidly (even within a span of a year). Especially in regards to cultured meats; the technology already exists! The major issue for the industry in reality is funding, as always.

So, the idea that the fictional company BF were able to monopolize the cultured meat market early on and earn enough money to pour back into their regenerative medicine research to achieve successful results is really not that far-fetched.

No romance (yet, at least).

I am genuinely curious as to what people who find the premise of the show to be unrealistic think the genre science fiction means.

So far the show's portrayal of a society moving towards cultured meat, helmed by CEO Yoon, has been thrilling. The back and forth discussions about the pros and cons of a meat-free society, the portrayal of unethical practices that speed up technological innovations, and the exploration of the apparently unending possibilities of regenerative medicine are all immensely satisfying to me. Even if there weren't several mysteries, I would have enjoyed the show but the quest to solve murders and unravel other secrets are the cherry on top!

Of course, the actors are doing an incredible job. Especially love the seemingly stoic main characters who are willing to be vulnerable in front of each other.
I love them so much T_T
My heart is about to burst from the amount of affection and respect they have for each other. Also, I cannot praise the addition of Yako-san and Nagumo-san enough! The way they showed the impact of female friendships, the journey of self-discovery even as adults well into their established lives, and the beauty of enjoying simple things in life such as grabbing a meal with someone you care about.. I love everything about it so much.
Here's to hoping that all women out there find the love they truly deserve!

maybe others thought he look like Kim Woo Bin, but why i thought he's really look like DK from Seventeen instead…
OMG. THANK YOU. I literally just found out a month ago that he is NOT DK.
I was telling my friends that I think it's pretty cool that someone from such a big idol group would act in a bl and my friends were like, wtf are you talking about. XD

Alright, alright! After watching the first two episodes, I am pleased with the plot progression and the wonderful…
Although it is not entirely clear how Khatha knows Dome at this point, I am leaning towards the idea that they were brothers some hundred years ago. Would be even better if they made them lovers but that might be wishing for too much XD
Also, my theory is that the red-eyed statue is connected to "Chan" aka Dome from when Chan was alive, and that's why Khatha seems to be attached to that particular artifact.

Alright, alright! After watching the first two episodes, I am pleased with the plot progression and the wonderful chemistry between Gun & Tor. My only complaint at this point is the pacing in the storytelling as it is slightly disjointed at times but it does not take away from the enjoyment of the show as a whole. So, I'm excited to continue watching!
I have some theories I wanna put out here, so I'll mark it as spoiler down below.

It makes us wonder if they knew that political conference was at the corner why not release it earlier or after…
The rumour is that Youku purposefully released it so that people would sign up for the VIP subscription, wait around a month for the rest of the episodes to air and then continue the VIP subscription for one or two more months.

Will the crown princess get poisoned too? I hope not... Hoping that she just either got sick or pregnant.. 😭
It must be that she's sick. Remember how her parents mentioned earlier (many episodes ago) that she has an illness which was terminal and that they are surprised she's lived up to the age of 20? It must be that.

I personally would stab her in the neck with her huge ass golden hairpin lmao
Omg, every time they show those huge ass hairpins around that evil grandma, I think the same!
