I didn’t like s1 I dropped it cos of the female lead trust me her character is soo annoying.
One tips if you are planning not to watch season 1 that's ok but at least don't judge Jiah's character based on others comment. Not everyone hate her nor find her annoying. The reason basically I liked her she was not dump nor childish like typical Kdrama FL. She was a very smart girl. I can't say why they hate her that much. Her character and mermaid character is not similar except the fact that both have deep love for their husband. Tale of the nine tailed series is not will give you haunted vibe definitely season 1 has some creepy scenes. And Lee Rang's romance is looking forced to me . Because I don't think he is a person who will fall for a girl so early or that easily. He is a tough on when it is about romantic feeling. The writer didn't think that much deeply I guess. But Lee Yeon's romance didn't seem forced to me at least.
If you watch season 1, don't expect some fluffy moments . It's not an fluffy romance drama
Ok someone tell me one thing. How is it doing in Korea? I think it is doing well outside but what about Korea. Actually I am not ready to say goodbye to our fox brothers. I want season 3 with new story. But I don't want to see the same types of ending like season 1 this time . At least no confusing ending. Season 3 with new story.
I know I am not sure . It's just an assumption. But sometimes I think her death part is needed . If the present not going to change that means Lee Rang is death in 2020 . Lee Yeon will go back . And then both of them can be reincarnated in present timeline which I will consider happy ending for them . But I am sure things are not going to be that smooth . What if they show us that this is a parallel universe.

Can't say anything. I really don't want Lee Rang's love story to be vanished. As of now it is saying that is a different timeline where the changes Lee Yeon will make won't effect the future. That means changes of Lee Rang's life won't be in 2020 (according to Tulipa)
According to Tulipa the changes Lee Yeon will make won't effect the future. But the mermaid. I mean Lee Yeon asked Lee Rang to stay with him a month and that's how he met her.
Now if nothing going to be changed in the future then what's the point of the love story. Well, I am a person who's favorite genre after fantasy is romance. I also liked Jo bo Ah in previous season and still waiting for her appearance. And I like the romance of Lee Rang too. Now I don't want to see that after Lee Yeon travels in 2020, The mermaid and Lee rangs love story to be completely vanished.
Well it would be so much better of they show us that it is not only a different timeline but also a different parallel universe. Then in that universe Rang and Mermaid may exist in 2020 too.
Another thing is coming in my mind. What is Lee Yeon's goal now. He is very happy with his brothers love life . I think he completely forget about what Tulipa said. Changes in the past won't effect the future.

Overall second season is so good . Although I like Yuri character more than the new girl in the past. Definitely want a season 3. But I want Jo Boah too.

I think you didn't get my comment . The ending of gu family book is the starting of tale of the nine tailed. Tale of the nine tailed started from here. It showed the fox who has been waiting for his lover to reincarnate in present era and tale of the nine tailed is much better than gu family book and most importantly tale of the nine tailed is a modern drama. I definitely not recommending it to remove from your watchlist.
Another thing it the bromance part is loved by every single person who has seen tale of the nine tailed. Lee Dong Wook is best male ghumio I have ever seen the plot is nowhere same except the fact , I have mentioned.
Lol I know . But not everyone is comfortable with subtitles. Making dubbed version is not a bad thing. It increases popularity. At least it will be enough to reach those people who have never watched Kdrama.
