I don't know some how I can't able to adore Esther's character here this time. She has played the role well but feel like something is off which I can't able to figure it out. Something is lacking.The writer wrote the character Qi very arbitrarily so does this concept of character exchange. Let see how it ends

I understand what you said but it's Qi's fault to not able to understand his master,moreover BLH said all those stuffs after Qi already gained her memories back.And since then she started showing cold attitude far later she got to know these manipulation stuffs and all made by BLH. Since regaining back her memories she didn't show a single emotion or affection or care or love towards her master. As if she got raised by herself all alone and everything till 3yrs back was a lie. She only knows YJZ in this world and cares about him. This made her character look selfish and impolite.

You spoke my heart out. It was like XuKai's eyes and facial expressions that were killing me. Tbh,this drama is not as great as I thought it would be,it is slow paced and so far a good drama but not as intriguing as I thought it turn out to be after watching so many great other xianxias,I am watching it only because I never missed any Soso's drama till date cause I love this man wholeheartedly. Those teary amber eyes with full of emotions,pains and love along with those memories of him with his Qi in the flashback & with that beautiful bgm are the stuffs that were hitting straight to the heart :/ NOTE: This exchanging of characters are so confusing, we need clarity on this matter and then we got to know even YJZ is going to die.This time XuKai came prepared to die in every characters he played😅
Episode 30 : I cried full buckets.It's like re-watching the scene from ALP once again where Qingmu sacrificed himself for Bai Jue & same here BLH sacrificing himself for YJZ is so heart-wrenching to watch.Although this character exchanges(2 XK & 2 Esther)are not completely cleared to me,it would be better if someone elucidates the concept more precisely. But one thing I need to mention,I feel so angry watching Qi throughout the episode.Why such cold attitude and expressions after knowing that BLH was her master who she's been looking for?Also how couldn't she realise her master's love towards her,it made her look so selfish,it shows she cares only about YJZ and no one else.I felt so bad realising how much pain BLH had in his heart when he sacrificed himself,man didn't even get the chance to confess his love for Qi openly,yet sacrificed everything keeping a smile on face,so simple yet such a deep act.Only few actors like XK can bring out natural emotions,expressions like this,truly an extraordinary actor 💗

I wanted to say initially so many things about this drama,like a paragraph might be but now am too emotional to pen down my thoughts cause I cried my lungs out. . . Its a MASTERPIECE, that's it!My favourite character will be always the most handsome playboy~YSS and of course the rest all 5 great heroes.It is a drama about brotherhood,sacrifice,team spirit & love.Team AJTL take a bow❤️Definitely its one of the best outstanding dramas of 2023 !
