Just finished this drama, I know am late to start with this drama and I regret so much for not watching it earlier.So came here to pen down my thoughts on this beautiful project.Everyone and everything is so beautiful,cute and heart touching about this drama.Even though some minute things are lacking still it doesn't make it less than a masterpiece. I think especially from Ep 31 onwards this drama turned out extremely extremely beautiful. The last 9-10 episodes are so heart wrenching and the most wonderful episodes are 31 & 40 according to me. What's best shown is that both the leads were willing to sacrifice and compromise for each other that's what a true relationship is.TY sacrificing his soul for YH via life swapping and went back to his primordial form is so painful to watch.While YH sacrificed everything behind and practiced black phantom in order to protect him and to bring back him to life in order to avenge for his death is so satisfying to watch. In fact she didn't mind herself to get hurt from TY's dragon fire each time she holds his hands and lastlh her sacrifice for the world.What a pure form of love,what an honest,pure hearted and kind soul she's. Similarly when YH was no one with poor cultivation skills TY protected her throughout that period,he let her keep his heart, those nine stars and even sacrificed his life for her. He managed to did everything that a perfect husband does for his wife. These two are like match made in heaven. The level of love, care,trust,honesty and faith they both have for each other made me envy their relationship. Their chemistry was surreal. This drama is the perfect example of romantic genre without any intimate scenes that proves love can exists in any form. And the last few minutes of Ep 40 brought tears to my eyes. My only regret is that I should have watched this drama earlier.It is a beautiful hidden masterpiece❤️
EDIT: Baby version of TY is such fun and heart warming to watch. Just realised how beautiful and cute Neo is,his face looks so innocent🥹 so does Zhou😘 The casting director did a fantastic job. And needless to mention the ost hit the jackpot for this drama,am hooked to all the songs of this one :)

It's not about comparison. Its just that original ALP hit differently to me,till today ALP is the best ever Xianxia made according to me due to its storyline and acting of all the characters. So I am upset that the leads from the original ALP team are not here,generally in a sequel it's good to incorporate original cast and those who want ALP season 2 will be a win win situation then but as the story is about YuanQi this time only,not regarding his parent(for whom I love ALP) so my expectation is not much from this drama. But since it's a Xianxia and Lusi is there so I will watch it. Hope you got my point :)

Got it. Though am not very much interested into this drama cause I am emotionally connected deeply with ALP and I don't like this sequel concept unless the original characters of ALP belong here but it's okay. As long as the genre is Xianxia and Lusi is there I will give it a watch😊Thank you for the info
Those who are coping up with this drama can anyone tell me how's it's going so far? Cause my deep irresistible love towards ALP & Bai jue is still not in the state of acceptance that this drama is the sequel of it that too without XK and ZD. So am yet to start with this drama but curious to know how's the story and how's everything going cause Lusi is there,so I will give it a watch after all the episodes are out.

Yes yes.Am tensed and excited equally regarding how both the dramas will turn into. Good thing is that both the dramas have powerful actresses as leads thatI can assure about. Rest I know they can never be the perfect match to ALP but they will definitely be great shows🧡
