I feel like to re-watch this series again but then I remember the last few episodes from 34 onwards.What a beautiful drama. Shiying & Zuyuan you'll be missed❤️
Let me start like this way..I was not a fan of XZ before, infact I never understood why people are so obsessed with him.The only drama I've watched where he's the ml was 'Oath of Love' that too because of my favourite actress YangZi and coincidently that drama turned out beautiful.I can remember I forced myself to watch 'The Untamed' after watching so many positive reviews and high rating but just after watching two episodes I couldn't make it upto the end(the reason was I didn't somehow like XZ so used to skip his dramas irrespective of ratings) But after watching TLP my entire thought process about this man got changed overnight.I can't claim myself as his biggest fan but definitely I can claim that I admire this man's acting,he has great potentials. Talking about TLP, I never had any expectations before starting it cause I didn't know or like any of the leads just gave it a watch because I'm a big admirer of xianxia dramas.But after the first few scenes(starting of the drama) don't know how I eventually got addicted to it since the beginning and finished it in just 2.5 days😅Oh Mannn! I thought this drama is gonna be another version of 'One & Only' with an unfortunate ending but turned out a complete different one. Those who're saying that the fl is not suitable for the character even I also thought in the beginning that how come the director casted someone like her(neither beautiful nor with matured acting skills) against an actor like XZ who's so renowned.But I figured it out why!Each passing episodes you'll fall the Ren Min's acting even if u don't like you can't avoid her she has something in her.I think the role absolutely suited her.And what to say about XZ? This man turned me into an admirer of him overnight,what to say more?He's just exceptionally excellent throughout the drama and how I wish if I had a chance to learn few magical techniques from Master Shiying.Even I must say I'm so glad seeing Alen Fang playing a role with so many shades he's just outstanding here unlike his role in 'The long ballad' & I'm very touched with everyone's acting especially, Chong Ming. Lastly,all I can say is that the amount of tears I shed for this great series would become worthy if only they could clarify the ending cause I badly wanted them to live a happy & peaceful life with kids cause they've gone through so much just to live with each other,they don't deserve an ending like this!!!!!Shiying you'll be missed❤️
Someone get me another box of tissues right now.To be very honest I could only make it upto ep 37 then I'm just trying to distract my mind cause I don't have the ability to finish this drama.I'm so scared that I don't know what will happen after I finish watching this great series.I got so addicted to the leads.Since ep 34 I'm trying to hold myself cause I know how much I'm going to cry for these two fools. By the end of ep 37, when Shiying realised that the man for whom his woman sacrificed her lifespan and sacrificed so many more was not Zhi yuan, rather him I screamed out of joy.I couldn't hold my tears anymore and screamed 'Shiying, You Idiot'. Xiao Zhan you can count me in as your new fan,you just nailed the role and so do Ren Min(initially I didn't understand why the director casted her as fl against XZ later realised why🤗) An excellent drama ,let me gather some courage to finish the last 3 episodes.

So far I've made upto ep 34.I wasn't expecting too much after watching the trailer cause I honestly found it average but watching it only because of my favourite, XuKai.His acting never disappoints me & this time too he fits perfectly well for the role of DX but I somehow couldn't cope with the fl acting.Even the other co-actors are better in acting,but ..I'm watching her for the first time & found her acting is very blunt with no emotions or expressions(only beauty won't work for cdramas).Tbh, after the great xianxia drama of XK, 'ALP' my expectations got too high.So watching this drama is a little disappointment cause the major thing that this drama lacks is 'interest' rather am enjoying 'Destined' and 'The longest promise' more.Anyway, let's see how it ends :/
I started watching this drama only for Tan Songyun.Her acting never disappoints me.Watching Jing Boran for the first time and I must say that this role was meant for him.The character played by him so well. Talking about this drama,I watched it upto ep 15 cause it's so hard to continue.Why? Because of the script!
1.I didn't understand exactly for what reason Gui xioa left LuChen?I also found her character selfish because where was she when LuChen was struggling all alone with mental health & dealing with such dangerous tasks for the country.That time she didn't show any concern for him neither cared for him.She didn't bother to call him atleast for once in the past 10yrs and then all of a sudden she came out of nowhere started caring for her long lost relationship!Is it only because of ego or self esteem or what?If she has so then why did she bother to contact him 10yrs later?She simply got jealous and felt unwanted when heard about Luchen's marriage.What was LuChen's fault here? Why did he need to struggle so much? 2.I felt so bad for that kid, he had no specific home kept on moving from one house to another also both of his uncle and aunt were busy building their own relationship basically he has no one to be taken care of.Where's his birth mother? Why didn't she bother to take care of his own son 3. This drama is exceptionally lengthy and monotonous I mean it's a hardly 20ep drama.Name of the drama should be something related to army/nation not road/home cause it's not making any sense. Overall it's an average drama for me but way too lengthy and monotonous with many loopholes in the script.Otherwise both the leads did a wonderful job in bringing out the best in the them also their chemistry is top-notch when they actually started dating.Let see,If I can watch it upto the end.

Unfortunately no . Atleast I didn't find any single drama in the recent time that can beat LLTG..But I can suggest you to watch 'Forbidden flower' which is a modern time romantic cdrama,which is also very good but not exceptionally good like LLTG but if you make it till the end you'll cherish it
LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES,NO PARTICULAR DEFINITION.This drama is a treat to my soul.I'm in lack of words to express my emotions.If pure and true love story had a face then this drama is perfectly meant for it.This drama is so far the best drama of 2023 in my opinion and I regret for not watching it earlier. Talking about it, honestly I was about to drop the drama after watching first 1/2 episodes cause somehow I felt this drama is going to be boring with no interesting storyline also got very irritated by seeing the fl.Because my brain couldn't process the fact that both the leads inspite of so much age gap(by that time I had no idea about Jerry Yan) are going to share chemistry I mean they look so boring and unromantic also lack all sorts of expression, emotions.But wait,I got astonished to see their acting skills.I don't know what happened to me since ep 3 onwards that I somehow couldn't give up the drama rather ended up being addicted to it and Jerry yan (couldn't believe still I've fallen for a 47yr old man🙈 who's few years younger than my father's age)Damn!This drama and Jerry yan both are irresistible🔥❤️🔥 Every time I see JY I curse myself for being single(need a Xiao Han in my life too asap)and gets jealous of the fl for no reason,this drama has an open ending cause I believe he was able to cure He Ran,hint: the fish was still alive happily living and at the very end people can hear the voice of HR walking towards XH. If this drama is not a modern time pure true love story based drama then I don't know what's the definition of true love story.Also need to say,don't know why so many scenes were deleted from this drama unfortunately,else it would've added more bonus to it.Their chemistry is unrealistically realistic and those sensual scenes(obvious enough to give u butterflies)If they date in real life or get married in the future then I won't be surprised at all. If someone is looking for true romantic dramas then this drama is highly recommended for them you just need to watch it till the very end.Lastly I'm hopelessly in love with Jerry Yan🙈 Waiting eagerly for these two to pairup again.

Hey buddy,I've already watched 'Provoke' and it's a good drama but it's not completely similar to COL except the fact that it's also a mini drama and it's revenge based.But yes you can watch cause the storyline is good but this drama lacks spicy intimate scenes(not even a real kiss scene is there) but you'll enjoy it anyhow.
