Their chemistry was great at the beginning of the series, but towards the end FL decided to be together after constantly pushing ML, which killed the chemistry between them. The reason why the second project is usually filmed in Korea is that there is no romance in the first drama where the partners get together. Afterwards, they shoot another romantic comedy series because the audience loves the chemistry of the actors. Example: Bossam: Steal the Fate and Good Job, Criminal Minds and Flower of Evil, The Negotiation and Crash Landing on You etc. Also, there is no hatred here, just failure to meet expectations. The character played by Peat was also a person who couldn't cry in the novel. So it wasn't surprising that he didn't cry, but his gestures and facial expressions on stage were very awkard. after all this episode was a disappointment :((
