Sigh. Sadly that's how it is. LML and LS needs to switch views. No shade
Well I mean it's never too late to get more views! There just needs to be more awareness towards the series and with a company like Starhunter Entertainment I'm frankly surprised that there isn't more.
I kinda disagree with that statement; there's enough seats at the table for everyone. They both deserve more exposure because as GAP has shown, there is definitely an audience out there for it. I just don't really see that much promotional material for either of the series.
I don't want ViewJune to accept this because this writer mostly wrote Toxic, Violence, cheating, sexual type of…
I totally agree that enough of this author's work has been chosen to be adapted; there are SO many other GL stories and novels out there that companies shouldn't exhaust all their work from one person especially if that person has written some rather toxic and disturbing content- there's lots of great GL content out there to adapt- but unfortunately, her name has all the hype right now from GAP's success and since GLs are so few and far in-between right now, this extra "hype" would just give the productions that much more of an outreach audience wise. It's a smart business decision so I definitely don't blame companies for jumping onto that bandwagon but it definitely still kinda sucks.
I doubt any company will forgo the rights they've already bought just because of the author which they'd have already known was a factor beforehand. My thing is that if GMMTV has the rights to this project, then whatever toxic or messed up tropes present will definitely be minimized because as you've implied, none of us viewers really want to see those unnecessarily gross/toxic aspects.
That being said, if it is offered and VJ get this- at this point it's just my personal hopes based on the brief MDL synopsis- then it's not really *their* fault since actors honestly don't really have much power unless they're like the top A listers of the company. Let's hope that going onwards, thai production companies feel compelled and encouraged to broaden their horizons while searching for their drama's source materials.
Woah, I didn't catch that there might be something between Neo and Lookjun's characters... My brain said "friends."…
Yeah, while I'm sure it's realistic in a bunch of cases, that trope's a bit overdone. Idk I interpreted that as Neo's character using Lookjun's character to make it seem like he had somebody, in the hopes of discouraging Aungpao's character. Which obviously wouldn't work for someone who's that shameless lmao.
Also, Warang needs to sod off because wtf?? Why did you just barge into her BEDROOM like that??? She needs to…
Didn't Prang say that Warang does that often to wake Gyoza up for school? If that's the case then that explains the keys and that there must've been some sort of prior mutual understanding
I'm sorry- love triangle for Neo?? Did I miss something?
No don't worry, it's cool to hear other people's interpretations because it didn't even seem to cross my mind as a possibility. My mind went straight to "friend" but this would definitely add more layers to the story. Interesting, I guess we'll have to wait and see😄🤭
Cheum and Boston get a do over 🥺 that's the way im looking at this. Ok for the storyline, I THINK that aungpao…
Woah, I didn't catch that there might be something between Neo and Lookjun's characters... My brain said "friends." 🤦🏻♀️ but ig this would make more sense
Yeah that one was the best of them all but I still preferred the pilot trailer because it was framed with more of a romantic tone. However, I wasn't upset at the change; the tone now feels more raw and realistic kinda like MLC which I'm excited for! So LT's new trailer wasn't as bad as HA, DR, OF, WC, FL and CC, it was way better by comparison, just a tad disappointing because it was a bit different. OF's trailer was also pretty decent on it's own but I definitely liked the pilot one way better.
