Well, after today's episode I'm blaming Chimon. I can feel Kanghan's love, but only Sailom's bro vibes.
Well only the future can tell but as of right now gmm's still the leading production company, especially in Thailand. You and I will have to hold hands and keep our fingers crossed for the upcoming years🥲
I don't know if it was true but I thought June was joking about it, right? I mean if you watched her livestream…
Thank you!! So much can get lost in translation so there's always that aspect. I will full heartedly believe that this is the case even if it is slightly delulu✨️
I understand how you feel and I also want to watch 23.5 right now, but I think Cherry Magic does make sense since…
I mean yeah, to us and the community and industry wise, it means so much more but to GMMTV which has shown time and time again that they prioritize profits- which is fine, they're a business after all- the releasing the first GL is technically speaking a risky maneuver; even if we disregard GAP's undeniable success since BLs have shown to be easy money for them. Regardless of quality😒. Especially since it's "competitors" for the airing slots have such huge names- OffGun, TayNew, P'Aof, JimmySea- and fandoms attached, making them bigger budgeted. Those productions are just as far along, if not already finished filming. It sucks bigtime but yeah I don't think it's slighted or out of pure lesbophobia; it's just that GMMTV doesn't have any of *their* personal data to reflect on how much of a success a GL would be, leading it to be not as much of a priority for them. Which sucks because this is their FIRST GL series so it's impossible for them to gather said outburst of popularity and data without them having actually released it. They also tend to neglect other artists, ships, series and aspects bc they're just such a chaoticly jammed pack company trying to do so much. I understand your frustrations but really, it's just an unlucky accumulation of different circumstances and variables. I'm sure that once the numbers and money actually confirm that it's a good investment for them, their future GLs will get much more of a priority and better treatment! Life's just unfair for the trailblazers...

Yeah personally PerthChimon aren't working for me rn but it could just be this series or the writing dragging their performances down. I'd be down to give their ship another shot in a future series but they didn't really do anything for me in NLMG either unfortunately. I think we can all agree that I'd be all for the recoupling into OhmPerth but my thing was that out of all of the GMMTV official couples, none of them have ever rebranded into another official coupling unless their partner decides to leave the company. Knowing gmmtv and all of the resources and money they'd spent branding PerthChimon as a pillar couple before they'd even premiered onscreen together, I'm expecting them to just dig their heels in until it's no longer profitable. Especially since they're still so new... so my hopes honestly aren't very high for that ghost ship to become a reality despite Ohm and Perth's close relationship and them stating that they loved working together on Double Savage. Also apparently PerthChimon has a higher following in thai audiences which ultimately matters more to gmmtv since concerts, merch, fanmeets and sponsorships are their main source of income😑😔

Yes. And I'm glad that you stressed if they feel comfortable in those romantic roles together because at the end of the day that's what's important. Regardless of how much of a powerhouse and force to be reckoned with they'd be if they were paired together! Unfortunately, they're both in gmmtv official couples with other people so I don't necessarily see that happening anytime soon. I'd heard that Ohm's contract with gmm expires this year so I personally do hope that he renews it so that they can still be a possibility for the future🙏🏻
I haven't finished ep8 yet but may I suggest a couple alternative titles that I personally think could fit the current series trajectory better than Dangerous Romance? The Dull Bromance or the Lukewarm Bromance; because I guess those seem to have taken over what was supposed to be a Dangerous Romance.
Well I understand people are angry becoz they are seeing platonic scenes more than romantic scenesBut it's a high…
Surrounding the part about "the actors they are comfortable acting with each other but it might still get awkward since they really might not be gay in real life", they're acting in a BL series; a Boys Love series. The gay romance, however subtle it's supposed to be, is apart of the package deal that they've signed up for and that's what workshops are for. This isn't even Perth nor Chimon's first BL series. They're actors and it's their job to be able to act the portrayals regardless of how they feel themselves as individuals; it's the art form. And while I do recognize that a lot of blame can be put on the production and post-production aspects and it isn't all the actors' fault- they are so many other aspects and variables involved- they are still a piece of the puzzle and the acting part should still ring true! I think that you're missing the point that the comments concerning the lack of intimacy and romance are trying to make. If they wanted this to be a bromance, there's a market for that but then maybe they should shift their marketing strategies since it's misleading. I do agree with your point though, if people want to watch an 18+ or +21 show, don't go running to watch a PG13 show and complain, it's not logical. However, there are also so many fantastic BLs and gay romances portrayals that don't have any kissing, that don't have an excessive amount of skinship nor "spicy" scenes; so that's not necessarily the issue, it's all about the storytelling, chemistry, tension and acting. A single look can sometimes portray so much.
As for your final point about people bashing this series, I'd like to remind you that kisskh is a discussion board, which is a place for people to express their thoughts and opinions on said shows. Not all of the opinions are going to be positive and that's okay; that doesn't necessarily make it bashing or hate. We're all here because we enjoy watching dramas but not everyone is going to have the same take. Everyone is allowed to state their views on how the show's going and while I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it, some people are disappointed or confused with it and they're entitled to voice that.
Dannng. That HURT. Me. Omg the angst! All I've gotta say is that the hand Nick would be holding, sure as hell…
Wait did they legit do that in the show? Because if so I totally missed it, but if it's your headcanon they I'm 100% on board for that to become canon; if we don't get a happy-ish ending in OF
i'm so excited for this i would honestly watch anything with peat in it, i read that peats character will be older…
Thank goodness, I'm so relieved to hear that because while I did like them together in LITA, that was my biggest complaint about PrapaiSky. I just couldn't see Peat as a teenager and Fort as someone in his mid twenties, especially so when they're next to Prapai's younger sibling, whom are supposed to be older than Sky. Their actors also bring much younger than Peat irl. So I'm really glad that with that aspect gone, hopefully this'll give them a much bigger chance at their endless potential :)
On just the title and synopsis I wasn't really interested in this drama but twist my semi- rubber arm.... and OF COURSE I'll watch it if Boss and Noeul are staring in it😙
Who was smoking what when they rated this 13+ and shows like WHY R U are rated 18+ ahahahah
Your comment is hilarious but yeah MDL goes off of the audience rating that's given by the thai network provider and not service providers that rate the uncut versions.

Love also has a solo schedule Oct. 10th so let's go delulus!
