I don't have a problem with the "rivalry". I actually don't see it as rivalry, more so as miscommunications because two strong willed individuals who happen to have some tension. What I did have a problem with was Cherlyn's trio being unnecessarily petty and rude to the runner-up girls. I get that it was supposed to be comedic but it got a bit old after 5 times? Plus I don't think any of them were lost causes, they'd have needed to play up the over exaggeration for that to play out. The selective niceness just screams "high school mean girls" which I think is so juvenile. Idk it rubbed me the wrong way.. Besides that, I absolutely loved ep2; Meena and Cherlyn's characters are pretty interesting so far and they have great chemistry!! And their sapphic nervousness just hits different, you know?
