Watched till Episode 9 -- ;contestants are better than S1, but i don't like how the main games that have been played always favors the one with more groups. Hyun gu is getting targeted now, justin in the previous and sedol getting chopped just because he was playing alone. at the begining Hyun Gu was swaying people in the aliiance to kick out sedol and now he's getting the same treatment. so, i don't generally care if he gets out when he gets to taste his own medicine, he has been using the majority alliance but now he gets the same treatment. Jiyeong, sedol and 7high seemed like the people he could not manipulate thus he never liked these three. Regardless,in terms of ability i think Hyun Gu along with Soo Hee and Sedol are the better ones compared to rest of the cast.
cast as a whole seem much more strong than S1, the prison matches makes it more interesting compared to S1 and a good way to judge their capacity individually. this season might not be like last season with 2 faction and two unnamed leaders; this year we might see more alliances and disputes... so far till ep 4; i have Lee se dol(gives that solo vibes of seokji from previous season), eunyu( has been more proactive in her approaches), tino(seems to have good understanding of games) and hyungyu(seems to be the most calm and rational person so far) as favourites.
came here after enjoyoing the 1st episode of s2, damn it's great. what makes it more exciting is that the show preety much feels like the winner is the ML of this drama. the best player won the game. the loophole of prison game regarding performing a day after shi won gave him time to prepare but damn he still won. this preety much gave him the edge to survive when he was a lone guy in the game. orbit was great as well but i would have prefered sun dong joo to be finalist than orbit. orbit catches basic really quick but get's overexicted and overconfident easily just like dongjae meanwhile dong joo could have performed better under stress, as a whole is think she's better than orbit...can anyone recommed some shows like this( i have watched elite league)
it seems to have just a few character for comedic relief, with tons of bad guys running around...too many early character introductions, thus quite tough to judge their acting early on beside FL who seems fine.. the SML seems like someone who can only enlarge his eyes; his acting seems a little off. hope they don't make ML overly kind and generous, too many evil characters to deal with- just FL isn't enough. Not a strong few episodes as all they have done is to introduce many cast hope it doesn't backfire as earlier introductions could lead to repetitive plotlines..... drama has all those old ingredients that is common in this type of shows hope the recipe or end product is different. A decent start not as good as CG(CG had good first quarter, decent middle portion and poor last quarter) but not as bad as Two sisters, elegant empire, montesristo,BYS .
What an *ss character Gichan is. even in that chaos he's enjoying with mistress.very easy to hate on him. Mistress Seri;like everyone predicted i do feel she's the one behind kidnapping. don't know why she hates our FL and is after her, judging from the first episode she gets successfull in acquiring JaeIn's house . so,her beef might be against FL's family especially how JaeIn's mother treats other less preveliged people she might have hurted seri's ego or maybe seri's a bastard child of Gyucheol.i do hope jaein wouldn't loose her child but considering how she acted in these first 2 episoes with the kidnapping scenerio, her child could be the last straw which snaps jaein. gichan's mother seems like a typical mother-in-law of cheating husband in kdrama, her second son looks fine as someone who seems good but is incompetent. i wonder how yugeong's charater will spin out in this plot, she seems friend with jaein and seri. despite being sister-in-law with each other along with being friends jaein and yugeong haven't met for 6-7 yrs, i hope she doesn't have that inferiority complex or she admires that scumbag gichan. she seems to be a doctor and possibly a conection with our ML. Now, ML seems a good guy who might change after a certain incident(in synopsis), i am sure it's his sister that will die as she seem to be investiagting Gichan's corruption in the company.i hope his character isn't like that in BYS. suji uri and BYS were my first daily drama that i started to watch duirng their airtime, i did drop BYS but watched suji and seeing main leads from there being together seems interesting.
That plot reminds me of Dangerous Woman. I can't watch it anywhere, but it was very similar to your theory.
coincidentally, i just happen to watch 4 episodes of lady of storm today. well, if you need a site to watch it i used dramacool(.)tube, it does have old dramas, but i would warn about the unnecessary ads and popups.
Seen many people defend either of FL and ML. Now, i wanna voice out my thoughts. Firstly, during their initial relationship it felt ML was the one more into the relatonship granted FL had her own life difficulties thus unable to open up completely for ML. when ML started having his own set of problems he must have felt he would held her down. but that doesn't mean i agree with what he did and how he ended their relationship by lying about his cheating scenario, considering how he felt that he was an umbrella to her he should have atleast hided his problems until he was ready to share with it. Breaking relationship without giving any fight doesn't sit right with me, if both love eachother then any hurdles should be tackled rather than running away. Regarding FL, i didn't see her being proactive in the relationship(as this troupe is common among Cdrama/kdrama) she never wanted to rely on others and finally when she started to open up ML breaks up, in her regard she should at least have shown her concerns regarding how his life was going on, she always thought ML had everything painted out good in his life and her life itself felt more taxing for her. Talking about present timeline,Now after breakup if FL had completely moved on from their relationship and ML started showing up , that is one thing as ML was the one who let their relationship slip away. But it clearely seems like she has yet to move on, she still likes him. So, shouldn't she at least listen to what he has to say when ML looked liked he wanted to explain. Withut confronting ML she would never be able to move on from their realtionshiop, she's just prolonging her suffering. confront him and then only she would be able to either move on or hold onto him. about FL's friend, i dont like how she will be again with QC. she was the one that made a choice to persue her career than QC(not like i disagree with it, everyone has right to decide it). But how these show always try to potray that female character chooses another path, gets married, has child, then have a failed marriage and meet the male character who has still not moved on, had barely made any relationship progress and waits for the same female to return to him.
I also noticed that Yeojin, Myeongji and Seyeong often wore pretty outfits. For the 1st time, I counted Yeojin's…
i think i did read in this forum where it mentioned SY's actor had strong sponser or somehting similar. i do wonder do every character have different wardrobe contract seperately or everything is managed under drama contract.
caught up and i dont like how the show's trying to redeem SY. she did follow her mother's instructions but besides her break up with jiseok i don't think she ever disliked what she did under her mother. and show trying to make myeong ji the only villain and everyone being played by her makes other cast look dumb, they should have kept SY and myeongji together in all their acts ;would have looked more better. talking about SY, i noticed that her wardrobe and almost all her dresses looked lit.
show was never about romance, beside ep 1-2 romance doesn't contribute to any major plot point in the story . so, i am fine regarding ending of ML/FL relationship. SDJ, YJS and Ildo carried the whole story. after Ildo's death, show felt a bit slower regardless overall , it was a good run. Coming back to ending.ML escaped from that mess,a journey to self realization. FL following what she liked,. YJS being stripped of power and money which seems to be the core of his personality, a year being chained in solitude with money and gold beside him but none of these mattered to him anymore than a sunshine and when he thought he escaped he gets reality check once again. Deok Hui getting karma for what she did. ildo getting realeased from his suffering. i hated how that Ji got the last laugh(though she seemed less evil and more sly idk why i hated her) and taeyun being a collateral as a form to torture deok hui. considering all cha family members noone deserved to lead the company with how they turned in the final episodes. not a bad ending but it's a ending which felt that something was missing, not in terms of ML's ending but just for how things turned for daesan group (company)....nevertheless, a good drama where i didn't fastforwarded/skipped scenes which i seem to do a lot nowadays.
someone tell me if here romance is overpowering thriller or not? I want to enjoy some thriller but sometimes romance…
only the first episode had more emphasis on romance part but so far this drama seems to offermuch more than romance. fl's decision seems questionable but not hateable. FL seems to be the the 4/5th important character for the plot so far....story seems to be character driven through ML rather than their romance.
Sian--seems like someone that has minimal day to day contact with any male and suddenly she's got to select between three guys one who's sincere with her(theo), her ideal type/crush (jeongsu) and one who just straight up seduced her(junseo), understanding her dilema doesn't mean what she's doing is right, after that night she should have come clean to other guys especially theo. she will have multiple decisions every episode. at first she felt jeongsu was weighing options then used theo as a distraction to forget him now when she's over jeongsu she prefers junseo. theo has always been her option regarding whatever people say. hope, theo gets to paradise with someone just to make her know about her actual feelings. theo--feels like a typical kdrama ML(which is too ideal to believe). when she selected jeonso he should know he was never her 1st choice, it could have been understandable if she went with jeongsu but the sudden choice of jeonso should have made him aware about her actual feeling, he's been running behind her, he needs to move on. jeongsu--first i thought him as a player weighing options but during past episodes he has made clear it's sian. he holds things with himself, should have been more direct but thinks being direct isn't appropraite. He should have been direct at least he could have other contestant. now, even the ones interested in him have lost interest. jeonso--a player. a night in paradise he will seduce almost all the females.just watch his every paradise interaction then it shows how he acts exactly like what the girls he was with want. acting cute, adoring with females and macho/alpha when with male. his choice will be sian just because of the fact that she's the centre of majority male cast.
hope jeonso-sian endup together, a perfect matchup and leave the rest on their own. i have surprisingly liked jiyeon and arin. hope they end up with tewan(clumsy guy acting confident, love him tho) and dongho. i dont want him to be swayed by other females. don't know if i will continue if sian continues to be the centre of remaining drama in this show
Like many have commented about sypnosis on asianwki and other platforms, i have a theory of how it may make sense. Yeojin knowing about eunchong being her grandson might be reavealed sooner. lately, yeojin seems to be interested in hana in a positive way, knowing how hana has treated eunchong as her own son along with her realtion with duna might make yeojin to be fond of yuna. with all the adoption and so, we mught see yeojin adopting hana to be closer to eunchong and her. but down the line hana knows about yeojin being involved in her adoptive parents death and then she goes for the revenge against yeojin. Otherwise, the sypnosis of "incarnaton of revenge/ reborn" shit doesn't make sense. Also the villians in the show seems weaker just the two mother-daughter duo and only mother seems scheming one whereas seyeong just seems like a puppet which can only whine and throw tantrum. yeojin adopting hana could also make these two mother/daughter's live more chaotic.
20 episodes in, feels like one of the better long dramas(100+eps) that has aired last few years. most long dramas start good but then turn into complete mess. BY the time we reach 10-20 episodes almost 95% of the birth secrets, mystery, revelation can be easilyguessed by audience but the show tends to start revealing them after late 40ish episodes which might be the reason people loose interest as there is less tension and leads are constantly loosing but the birth secrets, revelation in this show has been revealed quite early for the characters but the tension among them is still there and has potention for more drama, hope it does better in the upcoming episodes.
So Jiseok wants to pull his younger siblings off Hana not because he hates her for causing their parents' death.…
Jiseok might hate her for being kind and always caring about others rather than herself.despite not being blood related hana raised these siblings sacrificing her youth, career and i feel jiseok didn't want it go like that, he feels that his siblings and eunchong are a burden to her and they have tied down hana and wants to let her free but we know his thinking is flawed.
1. the police chief, ml treated him as uncle but during all those arrest process he hardly spoke anything in the flashback, easy to manipulte case and hide evidences and the fact that his son seems sus may suggest that the story wants us to susect him but the son may have witnessed his dad kill and also it was highlighted by boyong that daeun was a sl*t so may be the police chief was with daeun and things went south regarding their relation. boyong may have been witness thus killing both 2.CNG just because she likes ml and may have killed daeun( again asuming she was cheating) and also her lack of involvement so far the main plot despite being main cast member
Since this is an adaptation, so there were modification in the story-line and some characters.Still this is really…
the detective had past trauma regarding murderer thus is biased before checking facts, next episode preview seems like he might have changed his perspective
