I feel like the first one you watch gonna make the best impression on you. I watched the original first so I feel the korean one was quite weak emotionally. It's definitely good but when I watched the first episode, they quickly went to the funeral scene, I was really disappointed. I really like how the original series showed how the ML celebrated every birthday of the FL from the age of 19 to 25. It was touching. And how she found out about the proposal is so heart-wrenching. I don't understand the decision to use the ML's mom to spill the beans regarding the proposal.

Maybe it also has to do with the close watching time, I watched the original because of the korean version. So it's kinda of like I already know all the mysteries. But my friends who watched only the korean version said it's pretty good. So I think the problem with people who watched the original first is that everything is just too different.

Tbh fomh is not that good, the pacing is a mess, the romance is so little, and it removed a lot o the dark part from the original novel, but I still don't understand why people hate it so much. And also there is criticism toward the fl character, saying she is ungrateful, and chinese netizens saying that although abusive her parent at least is rich, which makes me puzzled too, they love their abusive parents too much

Agree, I hope it's perfect balance of the male lead work, female lead work, rescue and romance. Not too much male lead not too much female lead, not too much rescue action, and not too much romance. Hope that this one will be perfect like the novel XD
