No, There was a lot about them in the novel actually. They had a very toxic relationship. In drama they will mellow it down I guess knowing how dramas tend to do that, maybe they will make them 2nd couple like the 2nd couple in fated hearts drama.

Yes if the novel had sad ending the dramas usually have sad ending too. Sometimes drama adaptation make it sad ending even if novel had bittersweet ending n sometimes they make it open ending or happy ending depending on their understanding. This novel had sad ending too but then the writer wrote extra chapters to make it a bittersweet kind of ending n not totally sad.
