In the novel it was explained better, he didn't like she was so frugal n made him always live with frugality. N herself lived like that as well. He started not liking how she looked becos she stopped taking care of her looks too.
Ok the first episode was a bit let down but it only gets better after that! Even I felt after watching 1st episode that it's so badly executed n edited but then it got better. N by episode 4 it got pretty exciting. So those who r giving it up after watching just 1 episode, give it a try maybe till episode 4. Not to mention the AI replaced 2nd leads scene r so badly edited. It's laughable. But better to skip them.
