The plot n ML are complex,cannot be explained in a summary but to be precise, He is a secret double agent, he actually saves her but acts bad n cruel towards her to make her strong Becos he hates weak woman begging to be saved becos that reminds him of his mother who all her life was mistreated yet wasn't strong n who was abandoned in wartime by his family (when he was little) to survive in the wilderness all by themselves. So he wants to make her strong along with using her as his chess piece in his game. So in short, he acts cruel n bad but is actually very warm hearted who wants to save a dynasty n its people but still misunderstood as a traitor who defected to enemy nation. Hope this helped!

No I didn't see the name Gusha even in the official cast release list yesterday. Maybe they changed the name. It's not possible to scrap such an important antagonist.
