why did i enjoy these episodes more than the entirety of nlmg.. also feel like pond & phuwin’s acting was a lot better here than the whole series

phanbin, jay, keita & even junhyeon were robbed. i feel like the 10-18 ranks are a more well rounded group than the actual top 9 are…

if they had changed it to 12 though it would’ve been perfect..

i enjoyed it and thought it was really cute. it did feel rushed at the end but overall i’d consider it one of the better kbls

also kinda weird that ppl deem a show as bad bc there isn’t any kissing. which there wasn’t any in the comic and the leads are literally bandmates.. so it shouldn’t be that surprising

showcasing his talents.. he’s been the killing part on every performance and main vocal before. he’s maintained number 1 throughout the whole show. everyone already knows he’s good. what else is there to showcase.

even i don’t want to see only one member of my ult group get the main parts every time.. it’s predictable and can get boring.

if THATS what you’re looking for in a group then junhyeon would be a better candidate… he’s stronger in performance and vocals. mnet is already doing him dirty by portraying him solely as the comedic relief

every time i watch park hanbin perform it gives me ateez vibes, san particularly. it’s hard to find people that can be that naturally expressive and powerful

he’s been number 1 in all of his group performances.. i really don’t understand how he hasn’t made into in the top 9

and i’m thinking of the end game. yes, it is a competition but they’re also trying to form a strong team. it’s already guaranteed that hanbin will debut. think about the big picture, jay is a very strong vocalist that would benefit the whole group after debut. notice how everyone picking after jay had left him alone.
even as subvocal 6 hanbin had the opportunity for the killing part and probably will get it.

mnet has made him the golden child of the show so he’s had so much exposure. other contestants can’t ‘fight’ to have more screentime, it’s not in their control.
hanbin has even been my top pick since the beginning but he *knows* he’s going to debut. so it did make me a little bitter that he just screwed one of the strongest vocalists on the show.. bc of that, there’s likely no chance that the ones lacking in the top will get bumped out.

it’s not a talent show? so you like groups who have weak vocalists and dancers?
this is why new gen groups are a joke bc as long as they’re pretty, the fans are ok with them lip syncing all the time

we should stop putting an age demographic on this just bc it’s a high school setting.
myself and everyone i know, who are 25+ loved it and even my mother who is 57 did.

sure it was very simple but it was the biggest breath of fresh air in a bl (since bad buddy imo) bc it’s an actual healthy green flag relationship.. and didn’t add any unnecessary dramatics.

i’m sad that you dropped it at ep 6 bc ep 7 is the turning point of it all

i think the supporting cast are the mvps here. a majority of them were in multiple of these series’ and some are even filming them all in the same day. i can’t imagine what it’s like to have to switch back & forth between characters like that.
love that it’ll help them get more exposure
