So basically Lee Ki Dae got killed because he was rude to the professor and his psycho wife? I found that a bit…
Right? Do you need to kiss up to your boss that much that you need someone else to apologize for earlier comments? All he had to do was show his boss that the plagiarism claim was thrown out in court. We deserved to see the wife in handcuffs and then being sentenced.
They really wanted you guessing until the end. They definitely succeeded in doing that! I'll give them that because when it was revealed I was like wtf! Screaming "WHAT WAS THE REASON?!" like Cardi B lol
Could have wrapped it up in 10 episodes though. 8 stars for me mostly because I legit could not figure out the big twist until it was revealed.
Criminals can watch all the CSI they want and will still get caught. Even when you think you have thought of everything…
I mean I don't watch CSI or listen to crime podcasts and I know police are going to be looking for hair, fingerprints, and other DNA stuff at a crime scene! Lol and is An Yun Su not aware that she's in South Korea with CCTV everywhere?! This proves she doesn't have a criminal bone in her body. No way she killed her husband. I have two episodes left!
An Yun Su is so stupid. Like girl, you know you're being tacked. Why do you keep going back to that effing house?! Why questionable phone searches? Ugh.
I mean... Go in with your brain turned off. Spoilers in reply
What was the point of Na Wang Shik? He didn't get his revenge on the two main people responsible for his mom's death. I guess in the end you could say he didn't want to go that low, but he killed people (maybe just one and not really directly.) The main plot was supposed to be his revenge story and he doesn't get it and dies off screen.
The emperor getting a more heartwarming ending was a strange choice. He spent the first half of the drama hating the empress, trying to kill her, and keeping Min Yu Ra in his bed. Then he abandons Yu Ra and is suddenly puppy eyes with the empress? He's now comical and has cute sound effects played when he makes faces or head motions?
And damn it, Shin Sung Rok sold it! Why did I cry for him at the end?! He hurt the empress so much and yet at the end I'm crying as he's asking for forgiveness or when they were doing the tour of his room and he disappears in golden light. Why would the writers do this? Killing both male leads was... A choice.
So they want us to ignore that the emperor has killed multiple people, used the empress, is overall a horrible man and now see him as some love sick puppy doing silly things?
I don't mean as a romantic partner. I wish both women around him would stop with the goo goo heart eyes and live their lives. I was rooting for her to become a leader and show all those stuffy boys that she could lead. 😭
But noooo, they had to make her some crazed woman in a one sided relationship. 🤬

I'm still watching though 😂

Why is Shin Sung Rok making it work though? 😍
