Recently finished drama....we all enjoyed the drama a lot, laughed with the characters, cried emotionally.....there were really good dramas among the recently released dramas......but it's not right to call it a masterpiece, A drama does not become a masterpiece just because of a good story or acting, it has only half of the qualities required to be a masterpiece....... Personal Rating 8/10... Let's talk about the likes first. 1) The story of this drama was completely different from other kdramas...in other words, it was completely new, never before in any drama has the mother-son relationship has been shown in such detail. 2) Before starting the drama I wasn't sure if Lee Do Hyun and Ahn Ji Woon would like their chemistry or not, I didn't like it after starting... but slowly they became my fav couple, they had a very nice chemistry β€οΈ 3) Acting was the best part of this drama. The main characters and supporting actors all helped the drama move along nicely, the actors who deserve the most credit as the reason why this drama became a hit. 4) Another beautiful aspect of this drama is the color grading, location and color grading is one of the most essential aspects of masterpiece dramas. Here these two aspects were very beautiful and lovely...that's why watching the drama was a different pleasure. Take your mind to such a beautiful colorful scene Gives peace 5) I saw that the writer had written several hit comedy movies before..... so maybe these drama comedies were very enjoyable. Some scenes are like rolling over with laughter. 6) Speaking separately about the acting, the acting of the two main actors, Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Heon, was outstanding and worthy of an award. A detailed discussion on why not call it a masterpiece: 1) The worst aspect of Drummer is the editing. The editor seems to have been under pressure to make the drama 14 episodes out of 16 episodes, which is why it messed up initially, but it got better at times and did the same in the last two episodes. 2) Poor screenplay. 3) Since the name of this drama is The Good Bad Mother, I expected the mother-son relationship to be the main plot here, but I feel that the revenge plot is a little more focused on the drama with only 14 episodes. I liked the Slice of Life part more 4) Some parts are reminiscent of old Bengali movies, like the scene where Kang Ho falls down on the pig farm and remembers old memories, the memory of the time in his mother's womb was too much.....again Woo Byeok's spy guy records everything. The scene of confessing in front of him π€ There are many more but I am not talking about them, the audience must have felt themselves while watching... 5) They are fighting against two powerful people, but the action scenes were very weak, I know it was very illogical for a comedy. Especially the spy of the woobyeok group fighting alone against so many people. Again, the scene of rescuing Ha Young from the hospital was funny but made no sense. 6) The worst part of this drama was the courtroom scene. Cringe, silly and funny. Everyone understood well when watching. Without any solid evidence, Kang Ho's mother when Hurray! He yelled, "Brother, I can't understand how much second-hand embarrassment I have felt πππ Also, 35 years have passed since the death of Kang Ho's father, so the criminals will not be punished for his death as expected. Maybe you all may not agree with me.......all in all, I will say this, although it is like enjoying Agagora, this drama did not have that perfection as it has to be perfect to be a masterpiece. It could have been better if the director could have executed it well. I liked episodes 9-10 only, the revenge plot didn't drag that much. I am not saying that the drama is bad, it can be watched twice or thrice, but there is a huge objection to seeing it in the masterpiece categoryπ£π£ please don't kill me but this drama doesn't deserve a masterpiece tag!
