It would be cool if there would come a day where even locals in various of countries would be familiar with Kim Hyeyoon's name. She deserve this recognition. Afterall this would work out if her upcoming projects gets dubbed and on streaming platforms which are accessible to the majority of planet earth 🌎

I'd say she was being known already since Sky Castle..Extraordinary You gave her some push but then due to her old agency (she has just changed to a new agency this year itself) doing literally nothing for her she had not much opportunities expect when she has done the movie The Girl on A Bulldozer where she has received tons of awards and other recognitions even international, though it was more of an indie movie.

The biggest difference could be seen on her last year fanmeeting in Seoul and now she had much more after Lovely Runner and bigger venues.

She has been in this industry for about 11 years now but from now on bigger things will come

I could not agree more with you. It is not just K-industry but the industry in general around the world. Well nowadays it happens that once a men turns out problematic that people will not stay quiet, though when it is about misogyny then suddenly some women would rather support a man than a woman which is sad..While they should start using their brain like what would be if you are in that situation

They will probably dream about her 🤣 Bigger things will come to Hyeyoon. If ppl did not know yet she has received a lot of awards already in the past including at the NYAFF and Forbes (not the Korea one but from America who talks about business etc) included her in the list for 2023 under the 30 Under 30 - Asia - Entertainment & Sports. It's something that only the biggest korean artist have achieved for example BTS or Blackpink.

Yeah everyone is freely to express their own opinion but it is quite interesting how mostly "straight" (correct me if i'm wrong since i don't know you in person) girls/women put others down.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that is fine but i think there is so much more potential in certain people instead they go around and spread negativity.

Like i do get in the comment down below there is one little boy who is very insecure about his life that is why he is being toxic to other women but it is REALLY ugly to see when women do it to other women while men have it so much easier in a lot of industries.

Look i watch stuff around the world and i have actors/actresses where i don't feel comfortable with their acting but i would never talk about their looks

Not sure how aware Hyeyoon is about the on going boycott but there is still an ongoing geno*ide going on in Palestine and i know here are people who talk about the acting part..I think as someone part of an community who supports her..I would prefer to know that she is someone who will keep on learning as everyone else.

Her shows are pretty long, unless you have got time but if you want to see a complete other side from her then give her movies a try too.

What kind of "period" since there could be many subgenres to it?

If i would have to choose then i would like to see her in something like the adaption of "Whale Star:The Gyeongseong Mermaid".

The plot in general was not my type. I have dropped it after 2 episodes if i remember it correctly.

I think my opinion might not be helpful since i have tried giving it a chance but it was not for me.

Same here! I could not agree more with you. She has got so much talent. I know ppl know her more from her dramas, where her characters were more "bubbly", that's why her voice is high, while with her movies her voice completely changes. As other ppl have mentioned it in the comment section, her movie The Girl On A Bulldozer is the best example for that. It is time that she will have blockbuster movies. I'm looking forward to what she will do after Lovely Runner ends.
