Actually I feel Hailou at the end is very numb due to too much sadness he experienced on behalf of Xia life and lonely path. It seems he just want Haixia to rest finally from all the burden he bears alone. He was crippled, died to give clues but betting on it, alive again but mad and need to do dangerous mission alone. Until finally he's able to die peacefully 🤧 at least he's not dying alone

Actually Haixia last seen should be ep 16 😭😭 the thought of him dying twice hurts so much as well Hailou who lost him twice 😭😭😭

But anyway I'm satisfied enough at least Hailou knows what happened to Haixia and knows his pov too. At least he won't be too resentful towards Haixia and knows the truth too. And yes he still believes Haixia deep down, and knows he is not like that 🤧😭

The OST are great too. They have Zhou Shen, Liu Yuning and Wang Sulong. The ending ost by LYN is the best to portray the feeling left behind 🥹

Huaian has responsibility to take care of his sister since child and HE LOST HIS FATHER IN TRAUMATIZED WAY. LIVING IN DILAPIDATED HUT FOR YEARS and the only family he has is his sister. It's already traumatizing for him to lose another family.

The look he gave was "I am thankful my sister is alive and well and not live the way I did". Don't romanticize everything 😮‍💨
