Yeah he def was angry or jealous but they were caught in a tough situation she really wish he could help but didnt want blame later that he never got to do what he wanted. He saw helping her was more important than his dream for the moment.

even the subs didnt really show that the time jumped. it was like a bunch scenes spread over 7 years time period

the time skips were confusing at the end because it didnt show subtitles for some of the skips. but it skipped a year to 2020 when we see everyone wearing those useless masks at which there married already they both have rings on in one scene and then it jumps another few years to when the yang guy that almost destroyed the company goes down then it skips to the kid already being 5-6 years old i guess.
