For someone like me who don't watch Cdrama so I don't know the original
This is by far the most underrated Drama on this site. The definition of Wholesome is here yet many people are rating it bad cause they comparing it to the original.
it's been a long time since I had fun why watching entire episodes without skipping through.

I'm on Ep2, I don't really understand much of the story yet, feels like someone dropped me mid series. And also don't want them to catch the mysterious villian since the "Victims" are not innocents at all.
I think they did the pilot wrong sharing all the information at once.

they end up in fake marriage as a spy mission, and they show you there is chemistry between them.

They end up working together at the end.

They do end up together, In a way......... Happy end if you ask. Next comment is a spoiler if you want open it.

First 2 are crime story must watch. The next 4 are about bulling / revenge. the bottom five are diverse.

Done with EP8. Eun Seom Always loosing! So who should we root for. I know this show is more about politics but since they painted the humans as killers I'm not into picking their side, but our side is with the slaves for god damns hah f hell we need a Win.

On Ep5, Still watching the pain and misery of the good folks. Start skipping just to see some win to keep me watching. Might put this on hold for now cause this is too heart tearing.

I'm on ep 2 and this show is testing my anger. Does the tide shift cause I don't wanna keep watching the ones I'm rooting for always loosing.

Your analogy is quite reasonable and Me too had those questions with the spades queen team being small. And if they become citizens then who is in charge of all this, gave them the visa and control the laser beams.
At season one when they arrived at the beach, I had three ideas in head, they either all dead and this is the afterlife trials, or they've been transported to a new replica world each in a different time like an Isekai anime genre.
The last idea which I don't wanted it to be true was that all this is happening inside Arisu head like they show in last episode when the Heart queen tried to trick him, when I saw the scene in the psychiatric hospital I freaked out, thought they ruined the show ending but no it was a test and manipulations.

I too don't except it as a Dream since for me any show which make it into delusion at the end is not my jam.

But if that's the Case, if it's not a fictional place, the ones who arrived first ( the masters we saw in the series ) played against who? If they all experience the same reality then Who were the first masters ?
And If it's a supernatural place / realm then it has to be made by someone. And maybe him who made them game masters from the start like the girls were made dealers.
I don't know mate and I will be honest, if it's anything but Japanese I would say it has plot holes and moved on. But since it's made from manga source, I Just need to get a more satisfying answer.

Well my main confusion was between is this place we seen through out the series real or not. Did someone made it or not. The only conclusion I got is that this was a shared dream thus those people create it. A state of someone dying but they shared the feeling if you can call it.
The show is amazing that why I'm really into understanding the ending.

I really can't grasp the base idea. Based on your understanding, they all got into a phase between life and death duo to the meteor hit. So their bodies are in coma or they're unconscious and they just in a mental state to fight and get back to life. Is that it? You die in the game means you lost the well to live so you're dead in real life. But what about the rolls, players, masters, dealers, who made this if there are all in the same place together and not each one in his own mind( reality ).
For me it's a bit difficult to get what the writer means.

1- Is it a reality they lived in or just illusions ?
2- Was there a game master who made all this reality ?
3- What with the time difference between player ? Cause some of them already finished all the games and became Citizens before season 1 events.

Can Anyone Explain the Ending I Have some questions to ask in the replies

Just watched ep10, 4 more to go. Season one was amazing, however I want to ask something, what's new in this season. I really was into the set of the first village, the basement door, the Ml being on the run and out of all liked Thomas. Maybe because it was a fresh story at the beginning but I'm straggling with this season. hope the last 4 eps fix it for me.

Boring journalist with a boring emo-teen . Watched 2 episode and Dropped. 2/10 I really don't wanna be harsh but the only interest I had is with the mom and daughter first 10 minutes and they made a time jump.

I liked the Show, and as everyone opinion I would also say they should focus more on the fun comedy stuff and not the spy serious things, it's really obvious who the bad guy is from mid series and the mom's and kids side of the story is just way more interesting.
And did they just predict Covid-19 in ep 10 and 11. That's wild I went back and checked the release date and it was 2018 .

As Jisoo says : Not Bad but Not Good.... this for me the least liked drama for Jang Hyuk. And don't get me wrong I still recommend it as a police drama but not my top to watch.
So if you're into the ML go Watch.
