Actually when I start watching it around ep 4, I thought ML is the least interesting character among main 4. Because his backstory, depth and personality was only coming back from insolated cultivation and being socially awkward. That's all.. it was too damn simple with no villains for him, no fight to win, what is he even doing? nothing.. etc.. you know what I mean. I was like really? why CXX even chose to act it?
Starting from around ep 10, things are getting interesting for him. The mortal arc's 3 shards are more interesting characters than YQ 1.0.

It's because SDYQ 1.0 was typical xianxia ML in boring heavenly realm with plain white clothes and bad hairstyling. He had no family or throne rival issues either, no villain for him there. Things get spice for him only in mortal realm.

According to trailers, there are two wedding scences. Ye Tan is wearing the same wedding dress and accessories in both. One is with Mei You Qing "Greed" in next episode, it will be so funny he is marrying her for money lol. The other is with YouQin, which will be their official wedding. Can't wait 😊

The best thing about this drama is that there is no love triangle. I'm just sick of the trope like Sisters against each other for same guy or Brothers against each other for same girl.

The main couple, especiall ML story is poorly written to compare with the second couple story. No depth, no drama, no background story.. it's so underwhelming. They should have at least given ML his own plot.
