I feel the same. At the end ,in the epi 10, scene where mu Sheng purposefully hides from miaomiao in the forest and the lines goes like "I ziqi swear to heaven, if I ever leave you behind by mistake, i will turn around and find you no matter how difficult it will be or how far you go"
I feel like this line will be replayed in somewhat manner at the end of the series after miaomiao returns to her world, and meet Fu Zhou (Mu Sheng/Ziqi) in modern world.
I have watched over 200 historical cdrama till date. And this is in my top 3. Although o don't have favourite Chinese actor(ML) yet. But this is the third time I ever felt i should get one. First i felt it when i watched cdrama (till the end of the moon) and second time when I watched cdrama (a journey to love). This drama is a must watch. And interesting to watch. Cried buckets at the last episode. It will take quite a time for me to recover from the ending.
