Better. simple as that, I feel like they were trying to figure out the formula in the first season, now they nailed it, both in casting terms and in overall quality and pacing of the show.
I really hope Hyungyu turns the tables on them, my favorite contestant since day 1, played the game for the sake of playing the game and did not let any personal feelings get in between any of it, they keep bringing up how he's manipulative and stuff, when most of them are doing the exact same thing, hes just not being hypocritical about it, because he does not mind them being aware of it because he knows that they know, that they needed him, at first. he hard carried alot of people and created some of the best syngeries with some of them, like So Hee.
I believe So Hee is the only one out of the surviving contestants who can rival him Also I find the trio of HyunGyu, HyunJoon and SoHee, like a JJK or Naruto trio xD they the main characters fr
Like up this comment if you're like me and only understand what the game is about once they start playing it XDD these games complex as hell, I wish somebody would post a tutorial for these games right after or an explanation or something
I see few screentime complaints in the comment section, meanwhile Im absolutely unbothered because I finally watched an entire episode with barely any skips, usually find myself skippin half the episode, and the producers are well aware of it too, the other contestants are extremely passive, you just cant blame them for not giving them as much screentime, alot of times either the conversations rarely go anywhere or they're too timid to do anything provocative.
That's just how it is, we only get 1 episode per week, we can't be having 10 minutes of that dedicated to pretty much 2 people staring at each other saying nothing of any impact, they end up sending the text message to some other person the day after like nothing happened. I can understand that some of the viewers might want more screentime to other contestants but there's really nothing happening most of the time between them, and the production crew needs substantial entertaining footage that would cater to the majority of the audience. I find myself skipping most segments of more than half of the contestants, they're just that unentertaining most of the time, that's just the reality of it honestly.
This is the most entertaining dating show Ive seen in a very long time, no slow boring pacing like alot of slow burn shows (which is not bad, but gets boring fast when theres barely any tension) or extremely fast paced shows like Single's inferno. The perfect in-between combination of slow burn and fast pacing with the right amount of tension between the couples. And everybody is so gorgeous too!! like what, this has to be the best lookin cast with very well accomplished backgrounds, each and every single one of them. This show is Criminally underscored with that 7.7, lock in yall gotta get this to 8+
I love this show and I look forward to watching it every single weekend, last time I enjoyed a dating show this much was love catcher in bali.
BUT, If there are 2 things I can be honest about and this is just my opinion: 1. Haneul has to stop with the mixed signals, didnt send a singular message to Jimin but flirts with bro on the daily, like that really won't play in her favor, I'm sorry. It only puts him off even further. (PS: she's the prettiest female dating show contestant I've seen, god bless her)
2. Woojae screentime is straight up boring no cap, I have the exact same personality as him and I appreciate and relate to him alot but from an entertainment perspective, I really don't enjoy watching him, one of the biggest reasons why I'm rooting for JiMin x Jeyeon more. I feel like Woojae would do better on a calmer, relaxed, aesthetic show, not a dating show, I need me some sauce sometimes.
Not that I dislike her, but Da Hye is prolly my least favorite character so far, 80% of an episode screentime is allocated to her and I fail to understand the reason why If I may be honest. They're focusing a bit too much on her crying over her ex and her daily routine. Hae Eun was in a similar situation last season but it didn't come off as forced as this time around. I find myself thinking " Okay we get it, next couple please... ". The rest of the cast seem pretty vibrant and Interesting but 4 episodes in and every time It's givin Da Hye and friends at least in terms of screentime. Please let me know if u share a similar or different opinion, Im interested in knowing how other people think about this.
Peak television until the last 5 episodes. wacky VFX, people flyin lookin like they bein dragged by a mouse cursor and very cheesy dialogue. I loved this drama and tried to accept the possible limitations of the budget the the last 5 episodes were too unbearable I even tried to convince myself that things could get better with each of those episodes but it only went downhill. The plot was all over the place for those last few episodes too, such a shame but I got my share of enjoyment from the first 15 episodes and thats where this drama ends for me.
Jimin single-handedly carried the entire show.
As simple as that.

Also he reminds me of Light Yagami, Huge IQ plays.
