I think it's the rule of modern society. Imagine you're a very distinguish fellow with higher IQ than the rest of your neighbourhood, then you apply to your local university for a suitable position, knowing you're better than most of professors there. Would they let you teach right away? I think not, you'll be put down as an assistant or worst they won't accept you.

Now Fourth and Gemini, they're talented for sure, they deserve better roles but they are not the one who made the rule. They're pawns in the industry and they have to start somewhere, the most popular place to start in BL is highschool BL. You're right, we can decide not to watch the show, but here's another paradox, if somehow miraculously, most of us didn't watch the show, then what? There will be no future for Gemini and Fourth, they can't prove themselve in another projects anymore, because low rating means you're getting fewer jobs.

In term of pacing, I say this series is better than Bad Buddy, after the kiss in episode 5, Bad Buddy feels quite predictable until the last episode. My School President, except from one or two episodes, always feels fresh, plus the music is very nice.

The people in this thread should be paid equally by GMM, the comments here are more entertaining than the series itself. That 8.2 rating is for the quality of the discussion, not the show.
