Title Deep Night
The most useless "special" episode in history.

I suppose they granted a certain number of advertisements to the sponsors, then aired fewer than expected and therefore had to invent something to catch up.

By skipping every commercial you have a total of, perhaps, five minutes of unedited scenes that would have made a better impression if published together with some behind the scenes or on social media. The trouple would have deserved a better treatment but I can appreciate the courage of showing them on screen, where others didn't dare.

Title We Are
So far We Are it's perfect from every point of view, both the friendship relationships and the various crushes are told in a vivid and believable way, it feels like you're there with them, each character is three-dimensional, deep and real.

Title Two Worlds Spoiler
The drama overall is very nice, however there is terrible time management.
We move too quickly from one thing to another and fundamental scenes are missing to make what happens believable,
Khram's wounds heal by magic; overnight a person dies and by the morning (everyone still obviously dressed&wounded in the same way) he's already in a tomb, another person suffering from hemophilia spends hours and hours with only gauze to cover a huge cut on his back, masked assassins appear in the middle of a street as if they had the gift of teleportation and foresight, even the way they find Khram in the middle of a huge forest doesn't make any sense, not to mention the arrival of the masked Tai to save Khram and, shortly before, the totally random arrival of the blind mother, who completely appeared out of nowhere in that hideout that is located who knows where, without the slightest explanation.
It's as if the last 15 minutes of each episode were directed and managed by a completely different staff with significantly lower capabilities, it seems like a badly done cut and sew of scenes put together, while the first two thirds of each episode are always well done, apart for the characters who don't always behave as normal people would.

Title We Are
It was a perfect first episode.
Every single character has been introduced in a clear and vivid way, the group dynamics are believable, genuine and fun without it all feeling silly or lacking in depth.
In reality there is a lot of depth, in just one episode they have already managed to include: socio-economic gap, the difficulties of student life, daddy issues, secret crushes, situationship and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
This chaotic group of friends offers warmth and lots of laughter but I'm sure it will make us feel many other emotions, very strongly.
It's rare to find dramas where the right amount of time is dedicated to the secondary characters but here, for now, they seem to succeed perfectly, without neglecting anything.
The cast is all very talented actors, so I'm sure that each episode will be better than the previous one and everyone will have the opportunity to show their acting skills.
I would like to spend a few more words for Poon because despite having joined the cast in the middle of filming, without even the bare minime of workshops behind him, this was not noticeable in the slightest. His presence alongside Marc as well as in the group of friends feels natural, I couldn't imagine anyone else in the role of Pun, so much so that I wonder why they didn't immediately think of him for this kind of character, he is perfect!

The subtitles are a nightmare, this in itself poses a big problem, when a large portion of the audience that follows these dramas is international. Google's automatic translator would have done a better job than this, this gives you an idea of how terrible they are.

The plot is one of the simplest but anyone who has followed the genre for a few years has certainly grown up on dramas set at university, with secret crushes, toxic characters and other clichés.

I think it's still possible to make quality dramas with settings like this, even in 2024, you just need to look at other production companies to find enjoyable dramas, some very, very good.

The problem here is that none of the actors look like they're right for the role. It's as if they hadn't studied the role, done workshops, created the right chemistry with their character and with everyone else. There is no cohesion, the dialogues and scenes don't flow and you spend over half the time wondering "what are they saying?" and the other half trying to convince yourself that these are really college students, because they look way too old (to no surprise considering many of them are around 30 years old, more or less).

A story like this, put into the hands of other companies, would have come out pleasant, a non-demanding drama that keeps you company and leaves you with some good memories and a few healthy laughs. This isn't the case and I'm sorry about this, because I'm convinced that the whole cast is committed in their own way, they deserve to have someone more skilled behind them in preparing them.

The subtitles are the worst ever, they don't make any sense. I don't speak Thai but I almost better understood what they were saying in thai than the eng subtitles. Maybe because the plot seems to be really simple and straightforward.

Title 1000 Years Old Spoiler
I'm starting to think there's a ghost following them.

If you pay attention there is a third girl who appears throughout the episode, right from the first scene at the campsite. She never speaks, no one seems to see her and we only see her when everyone is present, never when only Yo and/or Pun are there.

We also see her during the flashback, perfectly identical to the present. If you were a vampire you would use an umbrella or stay indoors during the day, right? So either she's a ghost, or she's invisible.

A masterpiece, perfect from start to finish.
I loved every single aspect of this drama, the story is touching, the meaning is important and it leaves a sense of warmth, hope and optimism in my heart.
I felt emotions of this magnitude, talking about a BL from South Korea, only with "The Eighth Sense" which in fact is in my top three favorite k-dramas ever.
I hope to find this cast again in future projects, each of these actors deserves all the success and recognition and I strongly hope that this drama gets many awards.
2024 starts with a bang, setting the bar very high for expectations and standards that we expect to find in the future.

The trailer looks promising, both in acting and mood, I was worried about some "Be mine superstar" vibes especially on the lakorn side but it doesn't seem like it's going to be that absurd and exaggerated, so I can't wait for it to start. Fingers crossed.

Cute and sweet, but way too short, good pairing with promising chemistry, it would be nice to ha a proper series with them in a similar setting, summer and beach vibes are always very welcome.

Cute, sweet but it would have been better if it was longer, somehow I hope it will turned into a proper series with a properly developed story. I like love triangles but this was just a tiny bite of it.

Title Playboyy Spoiler
They are introducing the plot well, considering the time it takes to introduce each individual character. Nant's disappearance is linked to Captain's insistence on having all his friends have sex, which probably pushed him into a dangerous circle. Nont, his twin brother, then entered the scene, determined to infiltrate this group of friends to find out what really happened.
Add to this all the talk about social classes (prestigious colleges and scholarship students seen as rubbish) and the naivety of the rich (we see how Zouey is deceived by Teena who only wants to take his virginity and how First is deceived by Soong, interested in stealing his things by distracting him with his sex).
Just as the "rich kids" are friends with each other, so we discover that their various partners are all part of the same group, the one that gives the Drama its name, Playboyy, something we know from the official plot but which will become clear with the next episode.
The intimate scenes are designed *precisely* to appear "free", there is no romance and feelings are missing, because for all the characters sex is seen only as a means to obtain pleasure, money, advantages, satisfy erotic fantasies etc - nevertheless there was a lot of chemistry, especially between the painter and the nude model and between First and the "pizza boy" who I'm sure will give us joy but probably also a lot of pain.
An hour and a half of an episode have put a lot of irons on the fire, the technical sector is first class, the same people who worked on Only Friends, Bed Friend, Middleman's love and Lovely Writer just to name a few dramas, work behind it.
I'm optimistic <3

Title You Are Mine Spoiler
Cute and smooth but it would have been much more enjoyable if there had been more time available to evolve the story.
Xia and Yao don't have a decent conversation about their feelings until the end of the penultimate episode, so the ending feels rushed, especially in the first part with the confrontation between Yao and Xia's mother, because it makes you wonder "where were these feelings until 5 minutes ago?" both of them becoming aware of what they feel for each other deserved more time.

With this clarified, everything else was really very enjoyable. It's not among the best dramas of the year but there has undoubtedly been worse, the real and big flaw of this drama is the bad time management. In many other high-level dramas with a similar duration, there are well-in-depth and clear stories, but here the misunderstanding between the two was dragged out too long, relegating the feelings to just a few minutes.

I read several criticisms about their kiss but honestly it entered the top 10 of my favorites, because both they and the direction were incredibly good at conveying that it was their FIRST KISS and not just "the first kiss between the two of them" but the first ever. With the added bonus of it being their first, spontaneous kiss between men, which is certainly a quiet way to admit what they both like, when words fail them.

The way Sailom slowly gives in to the kiss, resisting at first, probably until it became clear to him that Kang was serious… I was so moved!

It's normal the kiss was abrupt and awkward, I would like to see you in their shoes. Damn. They're young men in their last year of high school, both struggling to admit with great vulnerability that they are interested in someone of the same sex, in an environment that is certainly less uninhibited than the one in which many of us live, and with behind them, especially Kang, a family scene filled with expectations that don't include having a gay son.

😱 the plot twist that I didn't see coming 😱isn't it obvious! kang is going after the most popular girl in…
There is no love triangle, I bet Fah is just messing with Kang, knowing very well he has a crush in Sailom. She will help them get togheter.

Stuck in the middle of episode 11 for so long now that I don't think I'll be able to finish it, character's action are just completely random, totally out of character and sooooo annoying. I can't. I was thinking "this is really good" 'till episode 9, then.. They really lost track of what they wanted to tell with this story. It's sad because I really like the actors and I hope to see them in other production but this one? Bittersweet, really.
