The drama deliberately made it look that way to everyone, including the audience, but he had planned his disappearance to protect the throne and eliminate his enemies. His "death" was part of a carefully executed strategy, not a supernatural resurrection. Whether people like that twist is subjective, but it wasn't meant to be a literal return from the dead—it was a fake death that fit his character as someone who always stayed several steps ahead of everyone else.
I miss Blossoms of Power so much. I already miss my cuties, Youyou and Luming. They'll always have a special place in my heart, and no drama will ever replace them🥹❤️
