YSJ is so frustrating as she always confronts the villains straightaway as soon as she has evidence. Brave ? Yeah…
Of course, it's a lead-in for her utter defeat that will happen in the next few episodes. At least that's the pattern. Will she end up in jail again? Perhaps accused of stealing the bracelet? It is possible. She'll either get beat up, accused, or jailed.
HR tries to get away with murder twice now (even though the 2nd incident is attempted murder). Her thug dad was…
That would be great. π I guess my biggest complaint is watching SJ get 0 wins over and over in this fight. The girl is getting beaten down constantly with crushed hopes and isn't looking so brave. Can they at least allow her to manage to keep her job? She walks into the traps and only escapes after being rescued. She has no power.
This isn't reality, Hollywood, Kdramas are an escape from it.A HS crush that rejected you from a decade ago isn't…
I agree it's an escape. π It just made me think about conflicts that arise when two friends like the same person. Especially in situations when your friend likes someone who likes you.
In Korea someone raises their own child ? Because it looks as if the children were drawn in some nationwide lottery.
The dramas misrepresent reality. I looked up the law in S Korea concerning abandoned or lost children and it's almost identical to the U.S. For example, Ah Ra wouldn't legally be allowed to stay with SY unless she went through the courts for guardianship, especially because she is not related to her. She wouldn't be able to enroll her in school without legal guardianship. So, remember the 120-episode K drama world is truly make-believe.
I love Mari. She's getting all the more hostile towards NY, as she should. The way she ordered her to make some…
It's funny, at first I was so against her because I thought she was the problem. However, I only saw the tip of the iceberg. The real villain is showing his true colors.
Well, after watching today's episode I see the writers will drag this out. They have the writer's "near miss" syndrome. That's a disease where writers make us suffer over and over by making us think an issue will be resolved, only to drag it out for weeks, maybe even until the final five episodes. I'm now putting JT in the same category as NY. He obviously doesn't want his wife to be reunited with her son, even to the point of playing on her depression and mental stability. He's evil and maybe he did just marry her for her money. He's even going to try to send him away. I wouldn't be surprised if he teams up with NY to keep the truth from being revealed (but that would drag this out for weeks). On the bright side, DR and DY are such a cute couple. At least they are happy.
This brings up the age-old question, is it okay to date your friend's one-sided crush? I've experienced this in real life a few times and my always my friend and I agreed to let the guy decide. We were more honest and open with each other than usual. We made a pact to never fight or end our friendship over a guy. I've seen best friends fall out and even snatch each other's hair out over this issue. However, we also made a pact to never date our friend's ex unless the other was okay with it. I guess that's where we drew the line. This is such a good series.
HR tries to get away with murder twice now (even though the 2nd incident is attempted murder). Her thug dad was about to finish the lead's parents off when he couldn't do it because of an approaching car. They end up in the hospital, but they are unconscious. Since this drama is throwing all the usual stuff out there, I'm sure her dad will have amnesia if he wakes up. YA wakes up but doesn't say much. HR is shaken up, even having nightmares. She lost the bracelet GH gave her; it ends up with YA . . . oh look a sloppy clue that SJ won't be able to do anything about. It will be disgusting watching 100+ everything but the kitchen sink at SJ. She was alone, but now she doesn't even have her dad to depend on. The only witness the cab driver was paid off by thug dad and the police are not really investigating the incident (of course not). SJ puts a sign up at the accident site and sees HR there looking around. She confronts her about why she was there. My thoughts. . .. SJ will act tough like she's going to get HR this time, but they will let her off the hook again somehow. Nothing will happen to that villain until about episode 119 and by then we won't care anymore. Oh, and I probably won't last that long. Right now, SJ is alone. No dad (who knows how long they will keep him unconscious), no friends, and no job.
