These episodes were intense! I love the dialogue you pointed out.

I understand why the FL is taking action, yet I kind of feel bad that she is going against the king, especially with the guy who tried to frame him.
I didn't like the king's betrayal at first and now I don't like hers.
However, the acting is phenomenal, and this series is excellent!

Episode 5 had me all in my feelings.

It took me a few episodes to get into it, but it's turning out to be one of the best in 2024.

Episode 8 was the best so far! Things are really picking up in this series. I'm glad we get two episodes tomorrow.

Wow, they're being generous with the episodes. What a nice treat, we get one episode Saturday and then 2 on Sunday.

She's pretending to be a man probably because of she has been on her own since she was a teenager. Also, she trained to get revenge against the general dude that killed her family. Now that we know the king probably ordered the massacre it's good that she has been living under a different identity.
Yeah, the title is misleading so far, but who knows, maybe in the future the romance aspect will grow stronger, and the ML will be less of a goof.

In my eyes the romance aspect is secondary. This is a story about a B A female general, her trials and revenge. In my eyes it's not perfect, yet it's still outstanding.
I'd say watch it and judge for yourself.

The drama is still outstanding in my eyes, except for the main couple.

Anyway, I was so mad after watching that. I was like ... are they trying to make us hate Yi Zhi? I really wish A Mai could be with Yu Qing! He beats YZ in intelligence, passion, and we all know who would win on the battlefield. Meanwhile, YZ reminds me of a rock with speaking abilities. LOL

I just realized after being spoiled and watching the show daily, we have to wait until Monday for the next episode. Sigh.

Me too. She did a good job of looking undercover shady. I hope they catch onto her sooner than later.
