I know what bothers me about this drama so far; there are some dramas that have such a great story it takes 120 episodes to tell it, while others write to stretch their story into 120 episodes. I really liked this drama in the beginning that's why I haven't dropped it. The constant near misses and the bickering between the leads that doesn't make sense is only irritating at this point.
How long must we endure Da Jung being clueless? Also, why do they playing silly music when the cheating pair is playing footsie under the table . . . that's not a cute moment to me. Also, if Se Ran finds a way to scam Bo Bae with a fake son too . . . well that will be too much. So far Se Ran has all the power in this story. Come on writers, do better.
I was so wrong about two major things as I watched this series, it just makes me laugh now. I thought Woo Hak was Ki Ho for sure. I thought the senior lady was maybe Mok Ha or Ran Joo retelling the story in the future. ππ But I must say Ran Joo's mom is fabulous! She rocked that hat and those glasses, right? Anyway, next week's episodes are already giving me anxiety thinking about the abusive dad hurting Ki Ho. The family escaping that maniac is just as important to me as Mok Ha becoming famous.
Actually, this is the first time and it's refreshing. That family would be perfect if it wasn't for the bad seed…
I can't think of any off the top of my head. Most make you watch episode after episode of the leads getting abused then at the end things turn for the better. I love this one and I wish others would learn from it.
Wow I knew the wicked stepmother was wicked, but I didn't know she was actually a murderous gremlin. She tried to kill her more than once when she was a child, how cruel. The daughter's evil behavior is nothing compared to hers, but she is learning fast. Even though it's bad to watch her poisoning the dad, I don't feel completely sorry for him because he is complicit. It's going to be great watching them go down.
"I wanted to thank you for being alive." πβ€οΈ Today's episode was so touching. On a side note... child and domestic abusers are truly scary people. There isn't a place in the world where it isn't a problem. The abusive dad in this series is truly a scary creep. We can only hope he gets busted for murder. Also, I'm totally having 2nd male lead syndrome right now. π
I love the fact that no matter the circumstances, Do Guk and Yi Joo are a team facing every battle together. It's a good thing too because Yoo Ra and Jung Hye are both full of schemes. I mean, Yi Joo lives in Yoo Ra's head rent free. Take a shot every time she says, "she needs to know her place" and you'll end up drunk by the end. ππ Last week's preview made it seem like the parents were going to demand they divorce, I'm glad to see it didn't end that way.
