Poor, HS . . . he's been though too much. I think JT is protecting NY because he's looking out for his grandchild. Does he still hope she will succeed in the family knowing how much she hates her sister? It's selfish not to expose her greed. I know many feel bad for him, but I don't. In my eyes, he would still be gaslighting MR to think she was the problem if he hadn't got caught.

This is my first time watching him as the 2ml if that is what he is. Anyway, you're right he is an excellent actor. I love the cast for this series.

I feel sorry for Jiang Ci because so far everyone in the story has been dishonest with her, even when they mean well. She doesn't even truly know her Shifu's background. She is in so much danger but doesn't realize it.
But I love this series! So far, it will make my best of 2024 list.

Yeah, the FL is quite annoying. Hopefully, she will get better as the series progresses.

I'm enjoying this, but I'm also a little disappointed with the typical misunderstandings between the couple. I wish the writers were more creative in this area. However, this is one of the lighter series I'm watching so I won't be too critical.

I am 100% with you. Anyone who knowingly abandons a child and separates them from their mother on purpose should feel remorseful and suffer as a result. I hope MR stays strong in giving him the boot. Remember all those times he made her feel crazy for continuing to look for her son? He always made her out to be the bad person who was hurting the family.

NY and YJ will hopefully end up alone. I'm looking forward to seeing SY pull out some of her hair tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought they made SJ way too soft in this episode.

NY and YJ are still nasty, but hopefully, they will end up with just each other or alone.

I just wish writers like this would realize that even in real life bad decisions, especially ones that hurt people have consequences. Even when there is forgiveness, consequences are still often final like divorce and jail.

I'm glad they didn't have him hold back.
