Well, this was a little better than the series in that it went faster. It was pretty predictable, but sweet and happy. I do wonder that between Itt from Love Syndrome 3 screaming about not getting cake (which causes Day's accident), and Nhai whining about not getting his car full of snacks, who is more annoying.
Finally! This is what I was expecting from this series. I laughed, cried, and then sighed with relief. The Eclipse was an amazing series and this was a great continuation. I was left with the doubt about the study abroad decision that did not seem to be addressed by the end. The kissing scenes were authentic and showed Aye and Akk's passion for each other.
Overall, this wasn't as bad for me as some of the commenters said it was for them. Love Mechanics is one of my favorite series because Mark and Vee and all the emotional rollercoaster feels it gave me. This seems to stick to the vibe of En of Love/Tossara/Love Mechanics, but it's hard getting used to a new actor playing some of the roles. I do understand that the word "wife" was switched for "bottom" in the subbing, which turned a lot of people off. I did at the time think it was really inappropriate for a first conversation, but now I know the actual context of the conversation.
I just re-watched a year after watching for the first time and seeing many of these actors in other series. I really enjoyed some of the couples' story lines. I do think that Chap and Tae had no chemistry in this show compared to Chap in the Tuxedo with Green, and Tae in You're My Sky with Suar. Also, I thought it was cringy to have Perth third wheeling all the way to the end. I thought he would vaporize or move on after knowing that Masuk was well taken care of.
Very excited to see new faces. I am also exited to see Mawin, who is experienced and very talented. He is really underrated in the dramas and deserves more main roles. I loved his acting in "Second Chance". He can be very funny, but very serious too.
Watched it a while ago. Just came back to it, but I couldn't re-watch because I remembered how it ended. The one character that actually deserved a happy ending didn't get it and my heart was broken for days.
At least Frank’s wig looks a bit more natural compared to Ja and Mean’s wig in “Remember Me.” Those wigs…
He is okay as an actor, but if they are going to do a wig, I think they could do better. It doesn't go with the shape of his face or head. It is too much and distracting.
The Eclipse was an amazing series and this was a great continuation. I was left with the doubt about the study abroad decision that did not seem to be addressed by the end. The kissing scenes were authentic and showed Aye and Akk's passion for each other.
