He reminds me of actor Lee Min Ho they have a similar vibe. Very manly, broad shoulders, and that strong facial structures and strong presence that really stands out even when he’s just standing there lol.

I see! I think I need to rewatch it because it looks like I'm not paying enough attention to what happened to the storyline lol 🤔😂.

Thank you for your reply ❤️.

It was just a shoulder massage… wait, I kind of see it now lol. Actually, no I still think they’re just friends 😂.

You’re welcome! Enjoy watching 😁❤️

I didn’t see it that way 👀 (but I’m not good at catching subtle same-sex hints in cdramas lol 😅). I think they’re just friends in the drama, with no love line.
I’m reading the novel now, and Bai Qiu is in a relationship with Zhang Chao there. The novel and drama are quite different. 😬

The Bilibili app (the pink one, which is the original Chinese platform) lets you watch previews and some clips for free, but the episodes are behind a paywall. 😅

Ep6 was so entertaining 😂😭, but those three really have such a toxic and complicated relationship.

So she’s legally married to Cui Jin Zhi?! He’s a total douche, but the flashbacks show he wasn’t always like this. Did power change him, or are we getting the classic “I hurt you to protect you” trope? 😭🙄

After Ep6 I’m finally more invested. The story is moving, and I can’t wait for more. Also it’s so nice seeing Li Hong Yi regularly. ❤️

It’s such a shame this drama didn’t receive more promotion from iQIYI, aside from a few posts here and there😅. It’s a beautifully made drama with excellent directing and outstanding acting. It’s also from the same original creator behind The Bad Kids and The Long Night.
I highly recommend it 💯 every episode keeps you engaged. Now it’s time for me to read the novel. 🙃❤️

Just finished the last 4 episodes 😢❤️
Some parts felt a bit cliché 😅 but overall this was such a enjoyable drama. These past 4/5 days, it was basically my whole identity lol. Sad to say goodbye.

Zhao Ren Jie did an amazing job as the ML. I checked his profile and saw that I’ve watched him in Fireworks of My Heart, but I tbh don’t remember him there 🤔. After this drama, I definitely won’t forget him. I hope to see him in more leading roles! ❤️

Right! I don’t know why they decided not to pick it up. But anyway, I’m glad Li Hong Yi’s dramas is finally getting released ❤️‍🩹😅

Totally agree 💯

No romance so far, nothing mutual. Jia Ming likes Bai Qiu, but she doesn't feel the same. I don’t see ML Zhang Chao getting a romance arc anytime soon, but who knows lol 8 episodes left.😆

I haven't read the novel yet, so I'm not sure if it even has a love story. It seems more like a Mystery, Thriller, and a healing journey for the ML after his trauma.😭❤️‍🩹
Sorry haha that was such a long answer just to say no 😅

My pleasure 😊❤️

I just checked. There’s a weekly ranking on iQIYI called “Global TOP 10 Other-language Dramas.”
The latest ranking is for 2026-07-13 to 2026-07-19:
1 The Prosecutor's Proposal
2 PAYBACK 😊
3 KNOT
6 Don't Be Too Emotional

Update schedule: Starting July 25th at 12:00 (GMT+8), 2 episodes will be released daily.

😅 Well, looks like they’ll be a little later than the Bilibili Chinese platform schedule.

Dude slept with her once and developed a soft spot for her 😂♥️
The story is not bad and it’s pretty engaging, but it’s not the kind of drama that makes me want new episodes right now lol idk.
The FL is not shy at all. This woman literally asked him at the end to be her f*** buddy lol.
The ML looks good🔥❤️. I love his acting, and I also love that he looks more mature.
Sadly, neither iQIYI nor WeTV picked up this drama for international viewers.

The psychiatric hospital arc was really good so far, but Episode 16 broke me. I cried so much 😢 lol. The ML, the young actor, and the child actor did such an amazing job with their characters 😭😭❤️ Ep13 and 16 were just as good as the previous episodes.

You're welcome 😊 I hope you enjoy watching it ❤️

I watched ep1 on premiere day and found it cute but a bit too light, so I’m waiting for more episodes to build up 🤭. I noticed you like character driven or fantasy stories this one like a simple “mobile gaming ” drama, sweet ML leads, nothing too complex, and the face reveal felt a little too soon for me 😭😅. Maybe try tomorrow watching ep1 & 2 together to see if the pacing works for you, or just wait like I’m doing lol 😆

Thank you so much 😊

Welcome! The thing is, iQIYI dramas are rarely available on other platforms😅, but I really hope this one gets more exposure. It’s such an amazing drama, and I wish more people could discover and enjoy it too.
