Just finished Ep4&5 and wow Ep4 was one plot twist after another 😂. I haven't been this entertained by strategy and mind games since watching The Vendetta of An. Of course, no one is as brilliant as Xie Huai An, but this drama is so good. 👏❤️

Omg the tension in Ep3 was insane 😭❤️. I'm already obsessed with this new ship 😂🫡❤️❤️❤️. Zhou Yiran and Chen Duling have such amazing chemistry together 🫠❤️.

Thank you ❤️❤️

Right! 🔥😍😍😍

Yes 😆❤️, and same 🤝

Zhou Yiran is so damn handsome 😍. The man has insane charisma it's hard to look away whenever he's on my screen. 🫠❤️

I kid you not, not even 4 minutes in and the ML is already getting beaten up and coughing blood 😂😭. Directors in China really love seeing this man suffer lol (not that I'm complaining 😆).
But about 10 and a half minutes in, the ML gets a short fight scene and completely redeems his first impression lol👏🔥.
Okay, I'm going back to binge the available episodes on Youku. 🫡🔥

Ep1 has no business being this intense 😳🔥. How are they going to maintain this pace all the way to the end? Good thing it's only 24 episodes instead of the usual long Cdrama 😬👏🔥. So far, it's really good I definitely recommend giving it a try and enjoying the rollercoaster😂❤️.

Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉

Saw this while browsing iQIYI. Not planning to watch it yet since I already have plenty of ongoing dramas on my plate lol😅😆, but it's on my watchlist now.👀

I'm surprised director Rice Natid is still in his twenties. It must be cool to have his work featured on iQIYI. 🔥

I haven't watched it yet, but I've heard some news about it lol. It's on iQIYI, and last week it ranked #4 in the Global Top 10 Other-Language Dramas. It's been in the Top 10 for two weeks and is currently in the Top 10 in 32 regions. So I'd say it's doing pretty well. 🫡👏👏

Tomorrow Ashes to Crown will air, and next week The First Jasmine first premieres. The cdrama drought is finally over for me 🥳❤️ I'm so excited for both of them! Now I'm just hoping we get Blossom in Darkness🤞👀 this year too it would be absolutely perfect 😭❤️

Can't wait for another acting masterpiece from Zhou Yiran 🔥❤️

I've only seen Chen Duling in a guest role in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. She was so pretty 🫣❤️, and her acting was good, but her screen time was too short for me to fully judge her acting. Can't wait for this one the trailer looks amazing! ❤️

This has been on my watchlist for ages lol. Since most of the Cdramas I like still aren't airing, I'm back to Kdramas. I've watched 4 episodes so far, and it's so good! ❤️👏

He's really cute, and I love his acting. ❤️

Happy birthday 🎂 🥳

It's crazy to me how lightly they're taking this matter. I agree with you 💯

Despite its dark theme, the drama takes everything surprisingly lightly😬😮‍💨. It follows a teenager caught between his mafia family and his desire to live as a normal, decent young man.
The acting is below average not the worst I've seen, but I was definitely expecting more. At least the cast is good looking, though that wasn't enough to make up for the weak performances.😅 I've also seen clips from the pilot, and tbh it looks better than the final drama.
For an 8ep drama, the pacing is slow. Maybe part of the reason is that I expected the characters to already be in college, but instead there's a lot of focus on school life.
That said, I do sympathize with the characters. I can't imagine what it must be like to be born into that kind of family😓. It's frightening especially when the system meant to protect children is often portrayed as corrupt and easily influenced by money.🚶🏻‍♂️‍➡️🚶🏻‍♂️‍➡️
Overall it's a drama with a very dark premise, but it presents those themes in a much. lighter way than I expected. 😮‍💨

Kim Dong Won is doing an amazing job with his character 👏. He's a talented actor, and I really hope to see him in more projects. I can't wait to see what kinds of roles and dramas he takes on next. ❤️

It's a classic body swap story, but it's entertaining. The leads have great chemistry, and I wasn't expecting the kiss lol. It was actually pretty decent. 😆❤️
