The ending was good.
For a short drama, the pacing was nice.
Each episode ended in a way that made me want to watch the next one.🤭

I think this is the first drama I’ve seen where the ML is involved with two women 🫢😂 Ep17! Even the ending Ep22 seemed to hint at that, with the two women walking hand in hand. When his younger sister asked which one he’d choose as his wife, he and the woman just smiled lol.

Not my usual type of drama, but I actually enjoyed it!
The ML did such a great job his emotional acting, especially his facial expressions, was really good❤️😍. The story isn’t perfect, but it has its own charm and even some funny moments 😆

I had a good time watching this short drama. The leads had great chemistry, and the kids were so cute!😊❤️

Actually, I think Chen Zheyuan is really good in historical dramas! I was skeptical at first because he has such a soft face 🤭❤️ and a lot of comments said the genre doesn’t suit him, but I found him really believable. The way he carries himself especially in the fight scenes he’s so good!🔥

The Princess is just 😭😭😭😷 her character feels like a reckless teen. I'm on episode 17, and I feel like the relationship between the ML and FL developed too fast in terms of trust 🤔. Like, she was deceived by the people she trusted the most, and now she suddenly trusts the ML? 😐 Girl, he's your enemy too. Wait a bit and see if he’s actually good. I think it was kinda rushed. Anyway, that 💋 caught me off guard 😆 but not complaining about it!

The SML’s love story is something else 😬😭💙 I’m absolutely obsessed with the ML and FL 😭❤️

Took the ML’s father long enough to put 1 + 1 together 😒 End of ep 14 and if he wasn’t so busy making his son an emotionless killer, he’d have noticed the traitor right under his nose!
Looks like the whole Yiqi Alliance is sharing one brain cell 😅 total stupidity 😂

Whoever did the styling and hair for Chen He Yi deserves a promotion 😆 I loved his look so much the beautiful, slightly wavy hair and those expensive looking costumes! And of course, let’s not forget his face card never declines 🫠❤️
Even though his character is kinda 🚩, I’m still enjoying it, especially since the last time I saw him was in Feud, where he was such a cutie pie 😍

The way Fu Gui looks at Qing Tong so gently with that beautiful smile 😭❤️ Episode 13 was so sweet! I think they’re one of my favorite pairings of the year. Li Yi Tong and Cheng Yi suit each other so well, both visually and with their amazing acting ❤️
