It became a bit repetitive for my liking. Niao Niao and Buyi got away with so many things that at some point nothing was surprising anymore. So many times I thought the Huo case was resolved but everytime they found someone new to torture. I think I would have liked it better if I had watched when it was airing. I skipped so much because I felt like I was watching the same scenes over and over for days. The first part was definitely my favorite.
This drama is hilarious, sweet and emotional. I don’t watch period dramas (I can’t stand the fighting scenes, for some reason I can’t understand they make me cringe, I had to skip them all this time too) but in this one the court drama is so entertaining, I could overlook all the faults I find in the genre. The actors did such a good job (Emperor MVP)
Piece of advice for those who want to start this drama: pay attention to names and faces. There are so many characters that it was difficult for me to keep up with all of them. Since I don’t usually watch period dramas, I was not used to the fact they all have the same hairstyle so it was really confusing.
I’ve been avoiding anything related to Only Friends for the last few weeks, it’s been really hard not to take a peek but I managed to hold back. I only know the main cast and that’s enough to make me watch it. I’m a little scared because I don’t know what to expect… I don’t know if I’m ready… *deep breath* See you all on the other side!
Tokyo in April is amazing. The full sentence I had in mind was correct all along, I wrote it when this series was…
I was going to agree but then you listed things that we saw in the worst BLs. In my opinion, the basic requirement for a great series or movie should be a good story and good actors as main leads (and maybe good directing and editing, depending on the budget), regardless of the genre. I personally like this story. I’m on the fence about the directing and editing (I really can’t stand all the flashbacks). I liked the MLs until they had to act in an emotional scene. As always, it’s all about personal taste.
I think it would be more enjoyable if Lom wasn’t already in love with Nuea. In that case, I would understand why he’s not telling him about the fake wedding. Now he’s literally torturing Nuea, who’s trying to be professional. A relationship born from a lie must be my least favorite trope. I had the same problem with Payu and Rain
I can’t get over the dubbing. Are they dubbing themselves or is it some else’s voice? Nevertheless the MLs are doing a great job. I don’t remember much about what happen after the big reveal on Addicted so I’m excited to see how the story progresses
this is mostly done by GMMTV fans.... if u go watch the hidden agenda comment section.. it's all mixed comments…
What?? That’s so unfair. I thought this kind of strategies were used only by kpop fandoms. I usually only rate the whole show when it’s done but I might start rate the single episodes now
He is the main character lol He is a bit of a mystery at this point but we will learn more about him in the next…
I know he is lol I’m saying we never got his pov or a scene with him alone, we saw him expressing more feelings as an actor than as a person. That’s why I can’t wait to see more of his personality and how he’s going to interact with Punn

I wonder how long they’ve been together? What was the first clue?
We survived episode 11!! 🥳
