Nope the romance IS better in the drama. So During the war an ennemi of duke su wants the emperor to agree to marry him with jiang li. Jiang li father IS ok because duke su IS not a good futur husband. So jiang li Asked duke su what he wants to do. So During a party in the palace duke su Asked in front of everyone to the emperor for a weeding between him and Jiang li. Yes, because they wanted to use the last part of the novel when duke su disappeared. But as they changed a lot of things it's doesn't make any sense. 🤣 Sometimes i think they wrote a script without knowing the ending when they start and ten minutes before the ending it's OMG WE forget we need to finish the story
