yeah for such a high production drama.. why didn't they do better makeup, lighting and realistic animal CGI? it's like they went 90% there but then gave up. anyway, still love this drama but truly confused on some of their choices!

i'm really pleased with the lack of drama between TTJ and BC... there was never any doubt who he liked!

i'm nervous about the torture scenes. in the book he was kind of a bastard to her... rape multiple times etc...

I got myself in a huff about the low rating... so unfair! although plenty of other xianxia dramas are <6. there's still time to improve a bit as only 96K votes. immortal samsara for comparison got 500K votes! and i think this one is way better than IS... and i'm a huge yangzi fan too. that one could have had 20 fewer eps tbh. i basically skipped to the last 10... couldn't get thru the middle chunk

just watched it! beautiful ep!!! i wish she got to tell him about who she is and why she is there... but ofc then we wouldn't have a show anymore =p

ditto - amazing summary! now i can watch with a little less anxiety ha! i am slightly worried about pacing... someone below said we might not see the bridge jump scene until 28-29... which then leaves ~10 eps for immortal arc/reunion. feels not enough?!

i wish the dream arc was shorter too...it got 5 eps? i actually think there's a good balance of lovey dovey and evil/anger! it's taken 20 out of 40 eps to get to some initial love sparks. any later we'll be done with the drama!

i feel like all villains get so much hate esp the female ones. i feel bad for them and they're acting well! that said... i skip all the CDL parts too haha
