yeah! i haven't read the novel but i went and read the epilogue (it's short, 3 min read max). it was so poignant and selfless and man it just hurts but that's what makes a great story right? SIGH
Uggg I read the same scene in the novel between XY and XL on the shore after he tried to drown her and the show…
i was very confused about the river drowning/kissing scene. i had thought it was bc he wanted to take out her bug but he didnt? he held a glowing thing afterwards. what was that?
who does XY actually love? i thought i read somewhere that she loves XL but he was always mean to her bc they…
but by that time she had already met/saved/started to like Jing?
in any case, i understand xuan's dilemma. it's hard to argue who loved her more or less. xuan wanted to keep her safe and he only knew one way to do it... although it's hard to say a part of him didn't also want the absolute power.
life is full of difficult decisions and jing is lucky to have no other responsibilities/hard decisions.
like i fully understand why XL couldn't just back away from loyalty and etc. he'd be a lesser person if he chose XY and betrayed his cause.
man this is such a good novel and script. so deep and complex!!! I LOVE ITTTT
Did not expect to love this drama as much as I do. I find myself anticipating for each episode! This and Mysterious…
same i binged all 17 eps in 2 nights! i haven't liked anything since till the end of the moon and i gotta say, i think this one has better script and production! def better makeup... ha

i wonder... what if xuan had just told her his plan and reason for everything and asked her to wait for him or to understand him? then maybe we have less of a drama?
Can someone help clarify as of ep 17 who has the two poisonous bugs? thank you!
in early eps XY planted it on herself and Xuan. Then there was a part where XL takes her underwater... did he take it out of her? but then in ep 12, they take it out of Xuan and put it in XL? XL has 2 bugs now? x__x
