idk why but I just love these toxic yet complicated stories like these it can be so entertaining and fun to dissect also when they have such a clear message within the story
I’m seeing people using other actresses who were minor at the time and stuck in the same situation as aimi trying to “justify” this is rather disgusting you’re literally saying that others experienced this so it’s normal stop freaking out and even if it’s “normal” in this industry doesn’t justify anything cause it’s still very wrong for a minor to be paired up with an adult especially if it’s a romance genre where people expects skinship and kissing also you are simply contradicting yourself when u use other actress situation as example and its like you’re saying it’s right and like many others have had this before etc I just hope the crew actually respect the fact that aimi is a minor and won’t put any sort of kissing scene or love making scene (I do not know if this is based on a novel or not)

the dubbing I couldn’t help but notice was a bit off? the pacing is a bit confusing mostly the fallbacks of the past, I myself was quite confused until I realized a few secs later lol
I gotta say I related a lot to xu yan when the scene of her fighting with her father in front of the school in the rain cause I myself have quite similar parents in a way and I couldn’t help but tear up when xuyan cried in front of him 💔 lusi did such a good job and I’m super interested to see what happens next (finally something to watch after this drought T-T)

so far for me the drama has rather quite annoying characters that pmo so bad like real bad but in some way qiao Qingyu mom and dad relationship really reminded me of my own Asian parents relationship and honestly her mom is rather suffocating cause I would’ve gotten into a fight 24/7 with her if I was in qingyu place lol overall I hope as we progress more each episode we learn more about the reasons behind her parents actions and her mom in particular
