OK ,from one who watched the 20 episode and not only one time but twice and connected all the points of spoilers and the Chinese description for the drama let me say that the drama is not about simple and normal relationship the description said it's yin and yang relationships the people who know this chinese philosophy will understand that they R totally different personalities like yin and yang so you should see them as that don't see them with plain pov no it's deep relationship they now start mixing thier feelings together until they put the white and black spot of their yin and yang circle they can't lives without each other they now sending thier feelings to each other and found grounds to start balancing.

if u remember in thier 1st life he also was cold heart and strict with the rules and he also have barriers with the human he never wants to be involved with them like he's in higher postion and respect thr rules and they focused about the humans R like ant and animals while huaruyue was more warm and involved with human and in thier 2nd life he was the same in the start the big change was when her removed the barrier and became close to human he change a lot when help the pregnant woman and after exactly 5 years he start to be like her in the 1st life and after anything he do after he helps human she come and asking him about his feelings now she want to know if he understands her now or yet so I found the idea very clear they start to have ground for balance
