I think they made her wig bigger, and that made her face smaller, and she put on some weight on her face, full round cheeks making her face cuter than it was before. She fits the character of Shen Miao.

I really hope they keep both the FL and ML characters like that in the novel, with no changes. Fl was ruthless and cunning with a cute face in her young age and then grew into a beauty after the timeskip, which is not possible in the drama. I loved the ML because of how complex he was. Fl genuinely feared facing him as an enemy, so she avoided him. He could see through all her schemes and plots and used her ideas to his benefit and also helped her in her plots. They had good chemistry in the novel too.
