They changed the whole FL character in the drama. In the novel, the FL and ML were good friends in the beginning; then they started to plan together, and they supported each other. She does not have that attitude towards him but rather sympathizes with him. Supported him to run the family. She was bold and independent, but she was kind and sympathetic too with the ML. I liked her character in the novel; in the drama, the FL comes off as arrogant and rude, esp her maid, like he was the reason she was injured. Girl, your lady was the one who ran to the house and wanted to get married to his brother; she chose all of it.

I think the main drawback was the aura that novel gave the male lead by telling us what he would turn into, the Living Yama. So the FL had that respect or that thought in her mind while dealing or talking with him. Wei Yun was very intelligent; he made plans over plans in the novel with the FL. I hope that they show his intelligent, cruel, cunning side in the drama; now only the FL is moving pieces. In the novel, although young, the ML was also very wise and cunning. I think the best example is the drama blossom where they showed what Song Mo became the white haired demon in the past life.

So she was in relationship with the first guy then his brother and then the ML, Dang they have to remove and adjust a lot of story for this drama

She marries his older brother, but that day, just after the ceremony, he is called to go to battle with the ML and dies there. She only sees him like three or four times before the marriage and during the ceremony.

He dies on their wedding day; just after the ceremony, he is called away to battle and he dies there. The Fl only saw him like one on the wedding day and then he dies and only The ml his brother returns from the battle.

dang the clapback to the empress from the emperor at the end of episode 26. I almost stood up and clapped.

I loved that scene even fl was like here we go again. I was sure that the person was dead the next moment he took that step towards him.

So Did Fl love sml first before she fell for the ML. Were the fl and sml a couple before she fell on that cliff. I havent started watching

I think the acting was a letdownbecause his younger version was perfect as that in the novel. The adult version completely changed from that

I agree with you; it is one of the best dramas I have seen. Except for the Fan Chengcheng character, everything else was picture perfect in that drama. The friendship between the mothers. Their family, the romance between Wang Anyu and Gaun Xia Tong. I really didn't like the love line between Lu Yu Xiao and Fan Cheng Cheng. It felt like she chose him because he finally succeeded and can take care of her.

This is a good novel. Hope they do justice to it. I love how they were married from the start to the end, I don't remember any break up. have been a long time i have read this , Is there a break up , i dont remember

In the novel she is naturally born strong from birth. Her knife skills come from her being a butcher. ML teaches her the skills to be a soldier and general, seeing her potential.

I am happy that the writers of Blossom and Princess Royal took time to write something that would solve this problem. It's simple; just make it a dream about the future and for people asking how the character could believe a dream, just add some scenes of things happening exactly like the dream, and then everybody believes. Simple as that. Well, just watch up to ep. 23 until half and close the episodes.

I know that. I have watched a lot of shows like this; this one particularly irked me because all that hard work went to waste because all they got at last was just both of them loving each other. What was the point of the whole drama? Princess Royal did the ending a lot better where she went to past but they implied that what she saw was a dream about her future life and then continued with that. Here they could have made the start with her waking up and thinking that it was a dream about her future life and then changing it rather than going back. Lol, well they didn't think about any other ideas may be

This was a mess of an ending. What was even the point of the whole drama if they are going to be in the same spot after the drama? She is still unemployed and failed in a long-term relationship; she and Ml never dated. He has been in the company for 10 years, and all the development he had during the 10 years was wasted.

I don't think that's happening , From the calendar, there is no symbol of marriage anywhere

Hope they keep the marriage and that life in the drama. I love that type of drama.
