Right?! That's exactly how I feel too! I think I might switch to Western TV shows for a bit. Otherwise I won't be able to get on with my real life stuff . I am distracted enough as it is lol

And the "problem" is CDrama is getting better and better by the year. I can't seem to go back to old dramas once the standard is set high with dramas like MLC

Oh dear, we are in trouble aren't we? *sigh*

The only exception I found to this general trope is the FL in the drama Who Rules the World

I myself am not a big fan of romance genre. My favourite genres are historical, wuxia, action, mystery, thriller, fantasy, supernatural, crime/ detective etc.

Maybe not just now. I don't think my heart can handle seeing him coughing blood and suffering again - at least not for a while (since apparently he does that a lot in his dramas).

My eyes are set on Cheng Yi's next drama "Hero Legends" but it will be a long wait. I need a distraction until then😭😭😭

This drama hit me right in the feels. And that happens only very rarely with me. Somebody please tell me how to get over this drama!

I agree about acting being better in MLC but Li Hongyi is so cute that I'm okay with his acting not being perfect in Blood of Youth. And I personally think the way they portrayed the female characters was also much better in Blood of Youth than MLC . Hope we get to see more great drama like this!

Edit: I just finished watching the drama and I can say that this is my most favourite drama so far this year hands down. Cheng Yi's acting was phenomenal!
