first 2 eps had me excited but now i m just bored. the story is barely progressing and they keep repeating some scenes. no doubt ohm is a great actor but leng's acting falls short at times & is a bit monotonous. i'll see how it turns out & if it doesn't get better i'll drop it.
one thing w gmmtv is that they give u opposite of what u expect. i was expecting kidnap to be a hot & dark series but turns out its just like any other gmmtv bl where they have a unique concept but fail to execute it. i was expecting some angst and drama but this is just slow progression. atp i m just praying the heart killers doesn't turn out the same way.
i love yinwar and i love their roles too but i feel like the writing is a bit poorly done. they r so many unnecessary scenes and dialogues. they could've just reduced it. there rooms for improvement and i hope the upcoming eps do better. i want to see more of the chemistry between jack & jocker
i was fine with the starting eps but now the story is all over the place. i started watching ep 6 and got so confused cuz i thought i missed an ep lol. the chemistry atp is not convincing. there's no progression betn their relationship. lets not talk about the cringe kiss scenes we r in 2024 now and the production wants to settle on angle kisses. if they had casted fitting actors who r adults when maybe we could hve gotten a bit more tension and angst but this one's not it i m dropping it lmaoooo
here's a very simplified explanation of the story for people who are confused:
Great gets into cardiac arrest. when a person has a cardiac arrest, he's brain can only survive for 4 minutes without the oxygen. During these 4mins Great is recalling different events that happened in past. so everything that happens in the first few eps is actually what Great thinks he could have done instead. this is why he can see 4mins into the future becuz he's supposedly trying to fix what happened in the future. he tries to fix everything that went wrong and then at the end he imagines getting shot along with his mother. as u can see he also wants to imagine that tyme is making efforts to flirt with him.
while everything that is happening with tonkla, korn and win is the reality. But some stuffs are adjusted to match Great's vision.
after both Great and his mother get shot, the storyline again starts from the beginning but this time its the reality. it shows everything that happened in real life. great gets shot by tonkla and tyme gets injured by warit's man. This results in Tymes having cardiac arrest.
After this, the storyline again starts from Tyme's point of view where he imagines that he gets together with Great. Since, the brain can only survive for 4mins as soon as 4 mins cross, the person will not survive. Tyme realizes this and gets back to reality.
(in real life) At the end both Tyme and Great survive while Tonkla and Korn die. Great's parents flee the country whereas warit (who was the culprit behind Tyme's parents' dealth) gets injured by Tyme(i'm guessing) making him disabled.
i feel like its very difficult to execute such a complex concept without loosing the essence of the series but 4 minutes did it! i was very skeptical abt how the ending was going to turn out but let me tell u that i m more than satisfied. everything was well put out -the acting, dialogues, cinematography. the storyline was so amazing smth i never expected. looking back i realized very single scene was so important and even crazier when everything connected towards the end. this is a total 10/10.
I don't get the amount of complains cuz this series is not bad at all. its actually better than majority of the ongoing series from popular productions. as someone who hasn't watched other versions of addicted i found it quite enjoyable. the acting is better than i expected and the flow & the dialogues also seem to go well so far. i m looking forward to it.
came back here to say one of the greatest bls ever made. yyds doesn't disappoint. last year it was ilylita and this year with my stand in its been making one banger after another
i m surprised by the amount of people comparing this to ifylita cuz the storyline and production of ifylita was on a whole different level.( ifylita had a good flow, it addressed social issues and the mystery/suspense theme was also very interestingly done.) i did binge watch century of love but i watched most of the scenes at x2. there is alot of room for improvement. i'd say this is definitely a huge upgrade from love in translation. i loved the scenes w dou and offroad but some other scenes were too boring/unnecessary. the storyline was predictable after a few eps. i enjoyed some humor. no comment on the cgi tho.
i like the fact that thai bl industry is moving towards unique themes rather than the typical university drama. i'd love to see douoffroad in a even better project they r great actors with amazing chemistry.
tyme is the shareholder of korn's dad's company. looks like tyme wanted to destroy the 'secret department' that korn was assigned. tyme saw great's surname and figured the company belonged to great's( korn's brother) family
i need to start watching series only after its completed cuz i keep forgetting stuffs. i forgot that korn is great's brother after seeing the comments i finally understand why tyme approached him ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ 4 minutes is definitely taking the 1st place for 2024 bls.
