Hi! Thanks for your input! Zhou Ye did do an amazing job. The drama is truly a fun ride! Having read the novel I felt Neo portrayed his role quite well. He also showed different facial expressions when he became baby dragon. To me that’s pretty good acting to shift from almost emotionless to a baby that smiles and is innocently curious of the world. I feel in these Xianxia dramas, most of the guys all act like this, stone face, no emotions. Glad you liked it otherwise and thanks again for your input! I love reading other people’s perspectives 😁
IMO, being a fan also represents our bias, so how we treat each other can reflect on them. Always be kind to other, respect everyone’s opinions, and enjoy being on a platform that we can exchange our thoughts and feelings of the dramas we like and dislike without hostility. It’s funny, I think they try to make the ending sad or open sad to get viewers to feel pain and the sacrifice and choices they have to make for those high expectation dramas, but I love the low key ones a bit more honestly. Because the actors and actresses as well as directors have more to prove. So they engage more with fans and viewers likes and dislikes. Maybe that’s why we get a more satisfying ending.

I think it has something to do with vulnerability. Because in that state he’s probably very beat up. He still hasn’t gotten all his body parts back yet at that point.
