The novel is based on the series, not the other way around. The novel's ending is very very similiar to the series finale. In the discussion section on this page someone started a thread about the English translation and posted some links, including a backup link.

I do wonder why people think just because Day got his sight back that the entire messsage got ruined. If he had gotten his eyesight back while not having accepted and succeeded life as a blind person then I would get it but the show also showed Day accepting his situation, being happy and successful. He fullfilled his dream of running a book shop. The show on top of that added him getting his eyesight back years later but what he has learned didn't just disappear. He's learned to deal with hard situations, to live life even when it does get hard. Does it feel a bit like a fairy tale ending? Sure, but this is still a fictional story.

This show's message was "hope" and that message got sent in different ways. It didn't get ruined in the end because of Day getting his sight back.

I can't believe it's over. This show caught be by surprise and won me over so quickly and intensly. I'll miss this show and especially Mhok and Day. Crossing my fingers real hard for Jimmy and Sea to get another series soon. Would love to have something to look forward to.

I am really curious how it will all end. What he said can be read in a bunch of different ways. Day getting his sight back could anger people. Day and Mhok not making up would upset people. Day getting his sight back AND make up with Mhok could upset people because some might feel it's too happy and unrealistic. Only 2 more days to go and we'll know.

There is still 1 more episode. If the series ends like the novel which was written based on the series itself then it has a happy ending. But to be totally sure I think you can still wait until Friday when the final episode airs.

I haven't paid attention to that many GMMTV show's numbers on YouTube while they were airing but I do remember Only Friends typically getting very close to or just about 1 million views per part in the first 7 days. Only Friends started stronger than this but the last few episodes were typically like that.

Last Twilight seems to land a little bit below that. The first part of an episode gets a bit over 900k viewers in the first 7 days, the other three parts range from 700 to 800k.

Generally from the 44 parts that have been released 26 parts have reached 1 million views or more by now, the very first part of the series sits at 2 million. 9 parts are at 900k+ and should reach 1 million fairely soon.

Only Friends and Last Twilight are a bit opposite in the sense that Only Friends' parts easily reached 1 million+ in the first few days, I think the very first episode even had all parts reach it within 24 hours, but the views dropped after a while. Then most parts of an episode just about reached 1 million before the next episode aired. And Last Twilight's episodes have been doing better later on because of the good reviews and such.

I don't think Cooking Crush is 100% comparable since the uncut version airs somewhere else but the latest episode has parts reach 400k to 500k within the first week.

Find Yourself doesn't even get 100k per part in the first week.

I am not sure how these shows are doing during their TV airings. I am guessing the non BL series does better there but IDK.

But yeah, I would say Last Twilight is doing really well at the moment.

That legit hurt me more than the break up itself. I was hoping for Porjai to magically show up or for Night to go outside to give him some sort of comfort.

I know a lot of people do not like this break up/time skip trope but here I think it was consistent with the characters. What led up to it and why Day reacted that way. I do think Day needs to learn to "take care of himself" more. In turn Mhok will see that he doesn't have to be worried about Day all the time. That he can leave him on his own and be confident that things will be fine. And I think this development probably happens best with Day separate from Mhok for a while. Otherwise Mhok will always be there as often as he possibly can and that would just make Day will bad eventually, feeling like he is holding Mhok back.

I am curious how they will get back together in episode 12. Just like Day's mom I am confident they will hold each other's hands at the end of all this. :D

For sure. Also there is simply saying "eh, it's not for me" and just hating and bashing people's work and them as people. If it's a troll they will always go for the latter since they want fans to respond, to defend. But of course there's also the people who think they can say anything online, that they're just voicing their opinion.

I love this show so much and I already dread it coming to an end very soon. This show just hits differently somehow. From the characters, to the story, to the actors and emotional beats. I am glad episode 10 mainly consisted of sweet and healing moments. After episode 9 I think this show needed a calmer and sweeter episode before episode 11 hits us all in the face. XD

Also the show has become more popular over the past few weeks so now it attracts the people who like to shit on anything that a lot of people love. Trolls love stirring people up and get reactions.

Just 5 hours ago GMMTV promoted episode 8 for tomorrow so I don't think it's delayed.

Pond, the CEO of BOC, just said in a livestream on IG with Bible that a press con should be happening soon and that the workshop has started. They haven't started filming yet.

An interview of Bible with ELLE THAILAND came out today and there he said filming should start in the 4th quarter of this year. So hopefully we will get some recasting news soon.

No, Bible did not only say he wanted to still be in it. He was asked in June during a livestream for Gangnam what his plans for the 2nd half of the year are and he said he is filming his series. After that at the Kaniva event he talked about the series again and that he is even taking acting lessons for it.
